Doesn’t notify
This app has a lot of potential and it’s well organized, pretty straightforward in the main screen with the timer and UV info, I’m upset this app doesn’t notify when I need to reapply which is the main reason I needed the app for. I have all the settings to allow for notifications and yet I come back to open the app after two hours and see that the timer is up but I wasn’t notified.

I’ve noticed this app doesn’t actually remind you or send you a notification when to re apply your sunscreen. The timer just stops and that’s it, no notifications nothing

Great idea, not the best execution
I live somewhere that there is very low UV in the winter but it’s still possible to get a burn from the sun reflecting off the snow. This app tells you that sunscreen isn’t needed below a certain UV threshold and won’t let you track applying anyways. I also wish there was a way to set a reminder for the first application of the day, because the app only sends you reminders once you have logged for the first time that day.
I understand that apps need to make money as well but it’s pretty annoying that the advertised purpose of the app was very much put on the back burner so they can try to sell sunscreen.

It crashes when I press the start button
I loved this app but I don’t know what happened, it is crashing when I press start. I have the newest iPhone and the latest update but I don’t understand why it crashes. Please fix it and I’ll change my review

Estoy en general muy contenta, es muy básica, casi como un contador, pero Justo es lo que buscaba y va genial para tener en mente cada cuando aplicar crema solar, y me agrada la sencillez de la plataforma y su funcionamiento. Para que sea perfecta, me gustaría que tuviera alarmas con sonido personalizables, o que vibre, porque me aparece la notificación en pantalla peor no suena, por lo que si lo tengo en el bolso no me doy cuenta. Helpful, but could use a few changes
I was at the beach checking my timer and accidentally cancelled it with some time left. I wish I could select a more specific time in between the recommended 2 hours/80 minutes/40 minutes if I needed to start it again. I chose the closest one to it, but I could have done something closer with a selection wheel.
Additionally - is there a way to customize notifications? I received “Sun Safety Tips”, and I’d like to turn them off. Not being able to turn them off is a dealbreaker for me, as I’m pretty strict on what notifications I allow and which I don’t. I can’t find where to turn these off/on inside the app. Maybe I’m not looking in the right place?

I really wanted to like this app
Unfortunately the app doesn't let me know when to reapply (which is the whole point) hopefully this will be fixed in the next update
Doesn’t notify
I have set all of the notifications for this, turned up the notification sounds, and set it to persistent instead of temporary. I NEVER get a notification so I always miss out. Even if I look before the two hours is up (by keeping time in my head), the timer is randomly reset so I have no idea if I have more time or ran out of time. In short, this just doesn’t work AT ALL. Deleting it and looking for a new app.

Opposite of what it’s supposed to do!
This app is actually incredibly infuriating for me. All i needed was a simple app for sunscreen to keep a timer for me to reapply every two hours. Instead i got an app that spams me to reapply every 30 minutes and doesn’t even keep my timer for when im actually supposed to apply. So i will be deleting and using an app that will actually help me and not contribute to wasting sunscreen by spamming my phone with notifications.

I’ve set this to all notification styles, set it to persistent instead of temporary, and even turned up all notification volumes, and this app WILL NOT notify you when it’s time to reapply. It’s a great idea, but the app needs fixing so that notifications ACTUALLY pop up on your phone.
Desert Dwellers apply before high UV
We in the Southwest apply long before the UV rating goes high yet the app won’t start a timer if there’s no UV rating.

Finally someone thought of this!
I know it sounds simple but on the daily I forget to apply my sunscreen! While I’m driving, at the park, on holiday, etc. this is a nice gentle reminder!
Very useful app
I have always misunderstood exactly how often I should reapply sun protection and now I finally know when. I would love to see more products embedded in the app as I experiment with different ones. I highly recommend!
