Great app!

It is very good and I like how it uses ntsc-rs, I would want these things added
1:whenever you shake your phone while recording you can make a certain FX go up. In intensity,
2:Finally, Change the timestamp font, it would help me a lot and others recreating certain VHS
As not all VHS used that font in the timestamp you got.

Please try to add these because I’d like to see them for more accurate videos

best vhs app on the app store?

Genuinely this app is the most realistic looking VHS effect I have seen on iOS. I don’t think anything really comes close to it.

Audio delay

Hi. I recently found this app from one of my fellow subscribers. But when I import a video, IT ALWAYS DOES THAT STUPID AUDIO DELAY. Can you please fix this? Update this issue.

Bar to none

This is the most authentic VHS app out there. It even has the audio to a T. I played with so many throughout the years and none have hit that itch. I’m finally satisfied and can use this as an actual tool than just play around and create stories. Great job!

Response from developer

Thank you so much for this! The audio was something we spent quite some time getting right, really glad it shows. And honestly this is exactly what we set out to build - an app that can hold up as an actual creative tool in real production scenarios, not just something you use once for an occasional insta story/tiktok. Really means a lot to hear that it's landing that way :)

It’s good but audio problem

I finally finished my video and when I rendered it this had an audio delay which bothers me so can you fix this problem please🥺🥺🥺

Response from developer

Hey there! Thanks for using the app and sharing your feedback, and sorry for the inconveniences you're facing :( Can you please drop us a line at rec@kudos.tv and provide a bit more details about your issue? That way we'll be able to reproduce it on our end and find a fix that will be shipped with the next update of the app

The app i prophesied

Ever since the release of ntsc-rs, a computer VHS emulation open-source software that is known for its hyper-realism, I longed for a mobile port or complementary VHS app that offered the same hype realism to those who did not have a desktop, after 3 years its came. This is genuinely the most realistic VHS app in the entire App Store ever that has now released around March this year. This is more than I could have ever asked for. NEVER abandon this app.

Response from developer

You have no idea how much this means as our very first review, thank you so much! And yes — subscriptions will never happen in this app, and we'll try to keep supporting iOS 17 for as long as Apple allows us to. Cheers!
