• Fixed: receipt totals are read correctly again. Scanning could save a tax line, a single item's price, or nothing at all instead of the real total — because the text scanner reads a receipt column by column rather than line by line, so "TOTAL" got separated from its own amount. Receipts that print tax as GST, SGST, VAT or HST — most of the world outside the US — are now recognised as tax, and totals ending in a round-off line add up correctly. • Fixed: dates are read using your region's format. "03-09-2026" is 3 September in most countries and 9 March in the US, and "26/09/03" is year-first in Canada, Japan, China and Korea. Only the US order was understood, so dates could be months out — or dropped entirely, which silently made them today's date. • Fixed: after scanning, the close and back buttons at the top of the confirm screen could sit underneath the status bar, leaving no way out of the screen. Both now sit clear of it and are easier to tap. • Fixed: receipt totals with no decimal part — normal in India, and the only possible format for yen and won — were skipped, and a tax line could be saved as the total instead. Whole-number totals are now read correctly. • Fixed: scanned receipts could be read in the wrong currency, which also made the saved amount wrong. The currency printed on a receipt is now detected correctly. • Fixed: receipts sometimes landed in the wrong category because a category word was found inside an unrelated word. • Fixed: editing an expense now has a Save button in the top right. It used to sit below the number pad, where it could fall off the bottom of the screen — so edits looked like they were ignored. • Fixed: switching an expense to a different category now applies, including on scanned receipts. • Fixed: changing your currency in Settings now sticks, even when you choose not to convert your existing expenses. • New: if Apple Intelligence is switched off, Receeto now shows how to turn it on for better reading of long and faded receipts.
