FAQ
What is Receipts?
Receipts is a social competition hub designed for friends to host and join various prediction games. It allows users to set up contests like hot dog eating contests, pong tournaments, or game nights and track who makes the most accurate picks.
How does scoring work in Receipts?
Scoring in Receipts uses virtual currency called 'Tabs'. When a host calls the result of a competition, winners collect Tabs, and streaks are built. This system ensures that all scores are settled based on who was right, with no real money involved.
Can I use Receipts for real money gambling?
No, Receipts is strictly for play money. Tabs have no monetary value, and the app does not process any purchases, deposits, or cash-outs. It is designed solely for friendly scorekeeping among friends and does not facilitate gambling.
What types of games can I host on Receipts?
You can host a wide variety of games on Receipts, including sports betting scenarios with fixed prices like spreads and moneylines, prediction markets where prices move live based on user picks, and seeded single-elimination tournaments with automatic bye handling.
How do friends join a game on Receipts?
To join a game, friends simply need a 4-digit code provided by the host. This code allows them to access and participate in the competition within seconds, making it easy to get everyone involved.
What devices is Receipts available on?
Receipts is currently available on iPhone, iPad, and iPod devices, making it accessible for users within the Apple ecosystem.
How often is Receipts updated?
Receipts was last updated on September 25, 2026, with version 1.0.2. This indicates a recent update, suggesting ongoing development and support for the application.
What is the age rating for Receipts?
Receipts has an age rating of 17+. This is likely due to the nature of some competitions that might involve betting-like mechanics, even with play money.
