This is the best app I ever had usei it every day it is incredible to for making recipes looking up recipes coping can down load recipes from pictures pdf websites just about anywhere you get a recipe it will ma ke it professionally

Extremely disappointed

I paid the $20 for unlimited use and was supposed to be able to sync my account across all devices. Not only have I been unable to do so, but my attempts to reset my password are useless also, as I never receive an email link. I’ve tried emailing their support for the app but never received any response. I’m very disappointed that I wasted my money.

Better Cooking Options - Better Health

Being able to locate the meals that you prefer helps to keep your eating in line with healthier choices and keeps you less likely to be eating out and on the road.

The Best in My Opinion

I love this app. I have it on all my devices so it’s easy to add recipes. It’s also extremely easy to share them. I love the cookbook publishing feature. It is an extremely good value for the money.

Best App Ever!

Have used this app for years. It is the original recipe keeper app and outshines others. It is by far one of my favorite apps. It’s versatility lets me save untested recipes from fb/internet; save recipes I find and love, and input my own. The ‘add photo’ works flawlessly and enabled me to take pics of all the recipes I had in books etc to bring on vacation. (We have allergies and must cook all our own food so this is wonderful) The custom categories allow us to label things so they are findable again. The ability to share means my son in college can cook all his safe meals! And my friend can have the recipe for the meal she loved. The app synchs perfectly across decices. The shopping list feature is appreciated. I have an ‘untested recipe🚧🚧’ category so son will know which recipes are not ‘tried and true winners.’ All my recipes will be in one beautiful and useable format that takes up no room. No favorite recipes will be ‘lost’. All the old recipes written by hand are preserved in photo for nostalgia and typed legibly. Support is terrific and responsive. They have actually added things I asked for. Top notch!!!

Loving this app!

Recipe keeper is awesome! It makes it so easy to keep recipes I want to try. See something on fb and I can import rather than taking 10 screenshots!

Frustrated

Can’t get it to sinc

URL “Import” Confusing

Don’t try to copy and paste a URL. It won’t work. Instead you have to type a search term into the URL space and search like that. It actually works well, but it’s incredibly confusing at first. They need to do a better job explaining that when you open the app for the first time.

Amazing app!

I’ve been an avid cook for 35 years and have gone through several iterations of personal cookbooks, files, programs and nothing rivals this app. I can easily share a recipe with a friend the moment they ask. It’s a game changer! I love that I can instantly verify the ingredients for my favorite recipe when shopping.
Planning a party with several recipes? Just add the recipes to your shopping list, then delete the items you have in the kitchen!
Take a picture of your grandmothers index card and RecipeKeeper saves it, perfectly organized into ingredients & instructions in seconds. You can import recipes from the internet, too! I promise you this is a purchase you will never regret.

Great App

I have looked a long time for an app to keep all of my recipes, both my family recipes and those that I find online and in cookbooks. This app is great! After trying the free version, I purchased the all access -unlimited version. This app is easy to use and gives me access to the same information across all my devices. There are so many options available for choosing how you enter a recipe: a photo, a web address, or typing it in manually. I like the fact that it doesn’t limit you to a certain amount of recipe entries. If you’re looking for an app to keep, sort, and organize your recipes, I highly recommend this app!

Excellent App

I'm a hobby chef and cook allot. This app is intuitive and a great tool to manage my recipes and update them when needed. Well worth the one-time cost.

Best app in the store

I have tried most of the recipe log type apps and all seem to fall short in some ways. Recipe Keeper filled all those gaps and with an aged UI. I actually prefer the design style and hope the developers don’t catch up to the times.

The app seamlessly scans recipes from different sources – text block, handwritten notes, pictures, screenshots, Pinterest/Instagram, recipes behind paywall.

Other useful features that I enjoy – scale recipe ingredients, make exportable shopping lists, plan meals in a calendar, create customisable ‘Cookbooks’ for easy recipe collection printing.

This app has solved my problem of wanting to experiment new recipes but never leaving my Pinterest board. I’ve tried over 120 new recipes and am chuffed about having them organised.

One-off subscription is absolutely worth it! Make sure to buy the MacOS and iOS bundle as just buying iOS subscription does not allow you to sync with desktop devices and you’d have to purchase the full package anyway.

Love it!

Easy to use: get recipes directly from web. Game changer! You can categorize in multiple places and enter your family favorites. No more worrying about them getting damaged or loss!

What a joke…

This recipe keeper app is great. I love it. The biggest down side that I just came across is that if you pay the $20 for “pro” on an apple device to be able to sync recipes with an account. You in addition to that have to spend ANOTHER $20 if you want to use them on an android device. $40 to be able to use my recipes from my iPad to my new digital android calendar. Every time I go to sign into my account to access my recipes it wants me to “upgrade” to pro for $20. If this is a bug please fix it, if not the greed is insane.

Je recommande!

J’adore cette application! Je rassemble peu à peu toutes mes recettes papier et notes électronique 😊

Shopping list isn’t the greatest

This app is great for the most part.
I’ve been able to export meals from books and pdfs I own and it lets me adjust it down to 2 or 4 people which is great.

I only have an issue with the way the shopping lists are made.
For many ingredients they’re the same. Garlic powder, onion etc. however when you transport them to the shopping lists it does the measurements individually too.

So if one recipe calls for half an onion diced and one calls for half an onion sliced it comes up with it in different ways.

It would be great if it could have the measurements, preparation way (sliced, diced, cubed etc) and the ingredients separated. So one recipe might call for 1 whole onion, another for half an onion and it doesn’t matter in what way they are prepared. It should just read we need 1.5 onions for the ingredients. To reduce waste.
Otherwise we have to go through everything first and do the maths and make sure it’s not further up on the list too but in teaspoons instead of cups because they begin with a different letter.

So one meals has 0.75 tspn garlic powder
Another meal has 1/5 tspn garlic powder. But it should combine how much we need all together for all recipes in the shopping list. Or at least have the ingredients be the alphabetic order. So garlic powder is all next to each other not separated by how much.

Love This App

This app is great! All the recipes I want to save in one place, and super easy to add them from websites!

Do NOT pay! Doesn’t sync even on a paid version

Tried to get help from customer service, they don’t help at all, just repeating the same instructions I’ve tried several times.

The best app I have!

This has everything I wanted in a recipe app. I’ve always wanted to make my own cookbook to pass down to my kids and this app allows me to do that in an incredibly easy and organized way.
