About

RecipeCals turns a recipe into a per-serving calorie and macro figure. You enter each ingredient with its weight in grams and the per 100 g values printed on the package, set how many servings the recipe makes, and the app does the arithmetic. There is no food database and no search, so nothing is guessed on your behalf. WHAT YOU CAN DO - Add an ingredient with its name, its weight in grams, and its kcal, protein, carbs and fat per 100 g. - Set the number of servings and watch the per-serving figures update straight away. - Read calories, protein, carbs and fat for one serving at the top of the screen, updated with every ingredient you add or remove. - See each ingredient's own calorie contribution next to its weight in the list. - Remove an ingredient with a single tap when the recipe changes. - Type decimals with either a comma or a period, whichever your keyboard gives you. - Work entirely offline, with no account and no sign-in. - Use it on iPhone and iPad, in light or dark appearance, following your system setting. WHO IT IS FOR Home cooks who want to know what one plate actually costs in calories. People counting protein, carbs and fat who cook from scratch instead of eating packaged meals. Batch cooking and meal prep, where one pot has to be split into equal portions. Anyone adjusting a recipe and wanting to see what the change does to a single serving. PRIVACY RecipeCals makes no network requests. Nothing you type is uploaded, and no account, email address or personal detail is ever asked for. The ingredients you enter stay in memory on your device while the app is open. The result is only as good as the label values you enter, so read them off the package carefully. RecipeCals is a calculation tool for your own recipes. It is not medical or nutrition advice and it does not replace a dietitian or a doctor.
