About

Recipeculator turns your supplier prices into the numbers that actually run a food business: what each recipe costs, what each plate costs, and what a whole menu costs before you shop for it. COST EVERY RECIPE PROPERLY • Enter what you buy and what you pay — Recipeculator works out the cost of every recipe from it • Unit prices that make sense: per kg, per litre, per plate, per piece • Weight, volume and count units convert automatically, including cross-conversions by density • Sub-recipes: use a stock, sauce or dough as an ingredient in another recipe • Batch scaling for large orders PLAN AND COST A WHOLE MENU • Build menus from any recipes — no selling price required • Scale each one: 2× the terrine, 3× the tart • See the cost price of the entire service as you build it • Margin and food-cost percentage once you do set prices A SHOPPING LIST THAT ADDS ITSELF UP • One consolidated list for the whole menu, already scaled • Ingredients used in several recipes are added together • Quantities in the units you actually buy in • Tick items off as you shop, with the current price beside each one • Photograph the receipt and the total, date and shop are read for you, then compared with your estimate COST WHAT YOU ACTUALLY USE • Set a waste percentage on any ingredient — 1 kg of tomatoes yielding 900 g usable costs what it really costs • Shopping lists gross quantities back up, so you buy enough • Recipes stay written in the quantities you cook with SHARE WITH YOUR KITCHEN • Send recipes, ingredients or whole menus as one file • Works between different Apple IDs — no shared account needed • Recipes carry their ingredients and sub-recipes, so costs arrive intact • On import you decide what happens to anything you already have KNOW YOUR MARGINS • Food cost percentage and profit per portion on every recipe • A target food cost you set yourself • Price history, so you can see when a supplier crept up • Professional PDF cost reports WORKS THE WAY A KITCHEN DOES • Everything syncs across your iPhone and iPad through your own iCloud • Your data stays yours — private iCloud, no account, no server of ours • Works offline; changes merge when you reconnect • CSV import and export for your whole library • 15 currencies Terms of Use (EULA): https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/ Privacy Policy: https://recipeculator.tokshernandez.cc/privacy

What's New in Recipeculator

1.5.0

August 21, 2026

Built from what working cooks asked for. • WASTE PERCENTAGE — Buy a kilo of tomatoes and get 900 g usable? Set a waste % on any ingredient and every recipe using it costs correctly. Shopping lists gross the quantity back up, so you buy what you actually need. • SHARE YOUR LIBRARY — Long-press any recipe, ingredient or menu to mark it, pick more, and send them as one file. Works between different Apple IDs, so a kitchen team can share one recipe bible. Recipes bring their ingredients and sub-recipes with them, so nothing arrives costing nothing. Photos are optional, so the file stays small enough to email. • IMPORTING IS YOURS TO CONTROL — When a name clashes with something you already have, you choose: keep yours, take theirs, keep both, or decide one at a time. Your own prices are never overwritten without asking. • COSTING SHEET & SHOPPING LIST PDF — Print a whole menu: every recipe with its multiplier and cost, then the consolidated shopping list with tick boxes for the market. • Delete several recipes, ingredients or menus at once, with a warning that tells you exactly what else it affects. • Tap any recipe or receipt photo to open it full screen and zoom in. • Fixed: the Share button on shopping lists, recipe PDFs showing a per-gram price instead of a per-kilo one, and receipt photos taking up far more space than they needed to.
