Very nice app… just a couple things to look at…
It imports from video or picture very well, including what appears to be on the fly nutritional calculation, and it lets you tweak details and replace the thumbnail.
Two things to look at:
- It currently isn’t able to read a text recipe import and doesn’t turn up on the share list for a text recipe export.
- It seems to lose some library pictures selected for the thumbnail and others is will hold onto.
Other than that, very happy so far.
The support option leads to an information only page, so hoping the dev reads the reviews. :)
Response from developer
Thank you so much for the lovely review, and for taking the time to spell out what isn't working. We do read every one! You're right on both counts, and fixes for both are on the way: • Text recipes: at the moment the share sheet only picks up links, so plain-text recipes and exported recipe files don't come through. We're adding support for both. Until then, you can copy the recipe text, go to Add Recipe → Type Recipe, paste it in and tap "Turn into Recipe", and Recipezy will set it out for you. • Thumbnails: thanks for flagging this. We're looking into why some library photos aren't being kept, and a fix will come in an upcoming update. Sorry the support page was a dead end. You can reach us any time at support@recipezy.app, and we'd love to hear from you. Happy cooking!
