The missing app for film obsessives.
I have a technical training in photography in the days of film, which meant a lot of maths, physics and chemistry. The hardest part was long exposures on film at night. Each film having its own issues after 1 second. This app solves that add adds in heaps of the other factors that affect the maths. All done for you! so good. The improvement I would like is the addition of FP4 (not sure why that is missed) and Lucky 100 and 400.

Timer
Really handy app for shooting larger formats. The timings all seem pretty good and I’ve never had a problem with them. Touch clunky to use but very helpful.

A useful app
I’ve been using the app for a few years now and it has been very useful. Two improvements I recommend:
To be able to lock the film type, as it’s easy to change accidentally, and the ability to select more than one filter without having to return to the main display between each selection.

Not enough films listed
Not much choice of film stocks listed. I was hoping ultramax 400 would be in here.

Issue with Reciprocity Timer
I would like to report an issue with Reciprocity Timer App. After the update to version 3.9 the app keeps crashing and closing on my iPhone (14 Pro Max, ISO 17.6.1). I use Reciprocity Timer to record my photo data, and it is very useful. I hope this issue is resolved as soon as possible.

Won’t calculate anything.
Not very good
Not many film stocks. Just pushes you to pay more for a ‘pro’ version. Can’t get your money back. Avoid.
Very poorly designed app
Paid $1.99 for an app that doesn’t allow one to change most of the settings and while the instructions state that an upgrade to the pro version can be purchased within the app, I’m unable to find a link/button within the app to do so. Paying for apps is something i am happy to do, knowing that it normally supports better products, but either charge the full price up front, for a fully working app or make certain that the upgrade link is available within the app as mentioned in the manual.

Has changed the game for me
As all of my lenses have speeds that are NOT true to their stated times, that had cause many years of frustration in attempts to get good exposures. I had purchased a shutter speed timer, and hand written the speed averages for each, but attempting to then mentally calculate exposure reciprocity? It was a nightmare. Then I hear of “Reciprocity Timer”. Now with the App enhancement of being able to enter my own shutter speeds, I have consistently taken good exposure photos time and time again.

Clever but text is way too tiny
Seems like a useful app, but I may never really know. The text on screen is way too tiny to read. Does the designer intend for us to use a lupe??
Useful but many bugs
This application is very helpful in the large format photography process. But there is still many bugs to be solved. And sometimes I can’t use it because of these bugs.

Uso este APP já há algum tempo, pois faço macro em 8x10 usando extensões de fole de mais de 900mm com uma lente Zeiss Luminar de 40mm, e hoje o aplicativo não me deixar mais fazer a correção com estas extensões de fole com a lente pequena. Paguei, usei perfeitamente bem por um tempo e agora virou um app obsoleto pra mim. Perdi dinheiro depois destas atualizações… uma grande pena….

Wish I’d checked first…
Bought this app because it was mentioned on a YouTube video. What a mistake. I use primarily Ilford film and the timings are way out. How can you sell and app and then not support it? I’m relieved I didn’t pay for the ‘pro’ version.
