About

Record is a diary of personal records for your workouts. No extra screens, no cluttered spreadsheets: you log only your best result in an exercise and watch yourself grow week after week. WHY ONLY RECORDS Ordinary workout logs make you fill in a table of dozens of sets, and a week later people quit. Record keeps one number per exercise — the one you need to beat next time. Less admin, more motivation: progressive overload is the whole principle behind muscle and strength growth. LOG ONLY WHAT MATTERS You do not need to enter every set and every warm-up. Open an exercise, update the weight, reps or time, and the record is saved. Fast entry without a keyboard takes a couple of seconds right between sets at the gym. EVERY EXERCISE AND EVERY PIECE OF EQUIPMENT A ready-made library is already inside: bench press, dumbbell bench press, incline press, overhead press, Arnold press, dips, push-ups, pull-ups, lat pulldown, seated row, one-arm dumbbell row, deadlift, Romanian deadlift, squats, leg press, lunges, Bulgarian lunges, glute bridge, leg curl and leg extension, calf raises, lateral raises, rear delt raises, face pull, barbell curl, dumbbell curl, hammer curl, preacher curl, skull crusher, triceps pushdown, plank, running and walking. Missing something? Add any exercise yourself. THREE WEIGHT MODES • Bodyweight — pull-ups, push-ups, dips, plank, calisthenics • Added weight — barbell, dumbbells, machines, cables, kettlebells • Combined — body and load together: barbell squats, weighted pull-ups Your record stays honest in any setting: gym, home or outdoor bars. PROGRESS CHART See your starting point, your gain and the number of workouts for every exercise. Progress shows up in numbers, not in feelings: exactly how many kilos and reps you have added since day one. PERSONAL GOAL Pick the next achievable result — one more rep or five more pounds. The goal updates automatically from your records, so you never mark progress by hand. Once you hit it, the app offers the next target. APPLE WATCH AND WIDGET Log a result straight from your wrist without pulling out your phone. The watch face widget shows your muscle state: New Record, Maximum, Recovery, Muscles Ready, Stagnation. One glance tells you whether it is time to rest or time to chase a new max. SMART REMINDERS Recovery is part of growth. The app reminds you to train after a break of one, two or three days at a time you choose, and shifts the reminder after a new record so it never interrupts your streak. YOUR STATS Your profile collects all the numbers: how many exercises you track, how many records you have set and how many days you have been at it. Every saved result is proof of the work you put in. SYNC Your data syncs between iPhone and Apple Watch: start on the watch at the gym, continue on the phone at home. WHO IT IS FOR Strength training and bodybuilding, mass and power work, street workout and calisthenics, powerlifting and CrossFit, fitness at home and in the gym, running and walking. For beginners who want a simple workout log, and for experienced athletes who only care about progress. QUICK START Add two or three compound exercises — bench press, squats and pull-ups, for example — log your current result and set your first goal. After that you only update the record after each workout and the app does the rest. RECORD PRO Three exercises are free. Record Pro removes the limits: unlimited exercises and personal records, full workout history, Apple Watch training and every future Pro feature. First week free, cancel anytime. Record is your simple tool for staying in control of your progress. Muscles only grow when weight and reps grow. The subscription renews automatically and can be managed in your Apple ID settings. The three weight modes — bodyweight, added weight and combined — plus the progress screen, personal goals and training and recovery reminders are all translated. WIDGET AND WATCH Every widget state on the watch face is fully localized: New Record, Maximum, Recovery, Muscles Ready and Stagnation. Straight from your wrist you can see whether your muscles got their stimulus and when it is time to chase a new max. ALSO IN THIS VERSION • Consistent wording for records, sets, weight and reps across every language • Correct date, time and weight formats for each region • Support for right-to-left languages • Refreshed recovery notifications and profile motivation texts • Small interface and stability fixes A REMINDER OF WHAT RECORD DOES • One records screen instead of bulky set-by-set tables • Weight, reps or time — for strength, static holds and cardio • Three weight modes: bodyweight, added load, or both together • Progress chart with your starting point, gain and workout count • A personal goal that updates itself from your records • Muscle-state widget and result logging straight from Apple Watch • Smart training and recovery reminders • Profile stats: exercises, records and days in the game • Fast keyboard-free entry, right between sets at the gym FOR EVERY KIND OF TRAINING Strength work in the gym with barbell, dumbbells and machines, mass and power blocks, bodybuilding and powerlifting, CrossFit, street workout and calisthenics on the bars, home bodyweight sessions, bench press, squats and deadlift, abs and plank, running and walking. The app suits a beginner with a first gym membership just as well as an experienced athlete counting every kilo. Record is a diary of records for your workouts: strength and fitness, barbell, dumbbells and machines, street workout and bodyweight training, gym, home and outdoor bars. Log your best result, follow the progress chart and reach a new high. HOW TO GET THE MOST OUT OF IT The main driver of growth is progressive overload: every session add a little weight or one more rep. That is exactly why the app keeps a single record per exercise — you always see the number to beat instead of drowning in set history. Set a personal goal on the compound lifts — bench press, barbell squats, deadlift, pull-ups and overhead press — and let the isolation work for biceps, triceps, delts, calves and abs follow. Between heavy sessions give your muscles 48 hours to recover: the Apple Watch widget tells you when the stimulus has landed, when your body has adapted, and when it is time to head back to the gym for a new max. Thanks for training with us. Tell us which languages or exercises are missing and we will add them in the next update.
