Forlorn nonfunctional software
The update doesn’t work. Like everything else from this company, it is a terrible frustrating experience. The Yugo of musical instruments.
Might be better if it worked!
I have never found the re.corder app controls very intuitive. This update app fails in similar fashion, but far more spectacularly!
I can connect the instrument with the app fine, but that’s as far as it goes. Doing the over complicated “finger dance” to proceed further is hopeless, it fails every time. Please come up with a way of updating the firmware that actually works!

Does what it is supposed to do
Took me several tries to update the firmware. If it needs to go into bootloading mode, disconnect BLE then reconnect, then it’s better to mention all these in the instructions. Better yet, display 1 step at a time, and mention what will happen after each step. But eventually I’m able to update the firmware.
It’s great that there is no ad and no data collection, and the firmware uploading was pretty quick, just 10s or so.
