About

Point your camera at any item and know exactly which bin it goes in, in about two seconds, tuned to your city's rules. SCAN IT. SORT IT. DONE. Aim at the pizza box, the yogurt cup, the mystery plastic. RecyAI identifies the item and gives you a clear verdict: blue recycling, green, or a special drop-off. When it matters you get a quick prep tip too, like "Empty and rinse, then blue bin." RULES THAT MATCH YOUR STREET Recycling rules change from city to city, and most advice online was written for somewhere else. RecyAI tunes every verdict to your city's actual rules across 40 US metros, verified against each city's own solid waste department. Glass is fine in Houston and banned in Nashville. Tampa's carts are the opposite colour to everywhere else. We checked, so you do not have to. FIND WHERE THE TRICKY STUFF GOES Batteries, electronics, paint, motor oil, an old mattress: some things never belong in a bin. Search for any material and see the nearest places that take it, on a list or a map, drawn from more than 32,000 US drop-off sites including city dumps, transfer stations and household hazardous waste facilities. Know somewhere we do not? Add it, and everyone nearby sees it. NEVER MISS BIN NIGHT Set your collection days once and RecyAI reminds you the evening before. "Put the blue bin out tonight." That is the whole notification, and it is the one you needed. MAKE IT A HABIT THAT STICKS Earn XP for every scan, build a streak, unlock badges, and climb the leaderboard if you are competitive. A habit loop for adults, not a chore chart. FREE, WITH NO ADS Every scan and every verdict is free. No ads, ever. No account needed to start.

A much bigger, more accurate app. FASTER SCANS. The classifier is roughly twice as quick, so you get a verdict in about two seconds. 40 CITIES. City rules went from 20 metros to 40, and every one was verified against the city's own solid waste department. That process corrected real errors, including plastics guidance in Dallas and cartons in Boston. A REAL DROP-OFF MAP. Search for any material and find the nearest places that take it, on a list or a map, from more than 32,000 US sites including city dumps and household hazardous waste facilities. You can add places we have missed. YOUR BINS. Set collection days for each bin and get reminded the night before, and request maintenance, a wash or an extra pickup.
