Great team

The collectors are great. They are prompt and personable. Recycle bins should be bigger Most days people have overflow and that becomes unfair for the collectors.

Dates are out of whack.

I loved the original Recycle BC app but was told we had to download the new one. Not instead of getting my reminder notification on the evening before I am receiving my reminder on the evening of our pick up day. It would be awesome it you could fix this bug asap. Thank you in advance.

Why no pop up events?

With the subscription calendar you get all of the pop up events in BC. This is nice in Victoria as you get all their gazillion notifications, sooo annoying if you are not.

I just want to see or be reminded when my LOCAL pop up event takes place. This app does not have them at all.

New system

The new system and schedule has been a challenge but I think it is all coming together and I really like the weekly reminders

App works well, but…

I find the app is well designed, but the pickup for flexible plastics is frequently out of sync with the posted schedule.

Collection issues

Can’t understand why they don’t pick up the flexible plastics on the day they have it scheduled. Do better

We live on a very busy, well known area of Maple Ridge BC and it doesn’t show Maple Ridge at all!

Love this app… I had to drive down to check if others were putting out recycling as to know. Put on my calendar trying to do it that way but often forgot and missed the pick up.
Now with app I can be prepared and out on the road the night previous to be ready.

Reminders

It’s really helpful to subscribe to getting reminders. They automatically sync to my smartphone’s calendar so I can see what is being collected and when. I also appreciate the added info on where to recycle certain items that do not go in the bins such as light bulbs and appliances which I have many of!
I also have contacted the email address recently when I had a question and they responded the same day. Great service!

Rural regrets

At least we have pick up service (even if the app doesn’t know about it) For real: how hard is it to build a database? Get to work!

Won't run
