The app won’t open for several months already
Used this app for a while but since some recent updates the app crashes when I try to open it again on iPhone 13 Pro Max

As a new resident of the West side of town I find the Recycle Coach App Very useful & informative to us‼️‼️
Notifications
No longer sending notifications. All notifications are set to on in the app itself and Not even an option on iPhone app notifications settings. This app is a waste without notifications.
Garbage and Stuff
This is a very good app to remind me when garbage and recycling will be picked up so I don’t forget. My garbage and recycling is picked up every other week; also food and yard waste is picked up on the weeks in between, so it’s easy to forget and I rely on this app. to keep my weeks straight. Thank you very much.

App is broken
I had to reinstall the app on my new iPhone and the latest version no longer works on my iPhone 17e. I cannot select my recycling region to start the app. The app used to work fine. There is a major issue with the latest update.
So handy
Great for remembering when it’s bulky waste day, or when holidays change pick up schedules. Also has handy tips on what is actually recyclable and how to dispose of different materials.
Schedule
Appreciate the schedule reminders in a timely manner. The questionnaires are interesting and fun. Detailed information for sorting, very helpful.
Critical bug-can’t assign my new street
Can’t assign my new address again after moving years later. Bad UX in general.

Very disappointed. Many times I tried to enter my correct address and zip code and it won’t recognize the correct address nor even closely.
Notifications don’t adjust to the calendar
When there’s a change to the calendar due to holidays, the notifications don’t actually change when needed. That seems about as basic of a feature as you’d design. Otherwise, what’s the point of an app. Every week is the same otherwise.
Nobody works harder sabotaging recycling efforts than people whose job it is to get you to recycle!
Constantly changing the rules is bad enough, but now recycling doesn’t show up on the recycling coach. Are morons in charge of this operation.
Great app
Recycle coach is a great resource if you’re in a new home, to keep track of your trash and recyclable pick ups. They also offer all information about brush and bulky pick ups, how to sort your trash, and anything else you might need to know about waste pick up. Both RecycleCoach and the Tucson sanitation department get my full approval

App says compost yard open till 3pm yet closed at 1pm.
Convenient
Great app for pick up day reminders. Also handy for asking how to sort your waste. I’ve had to use it several times.
Helpful
Helps to remind us when to put recycling to the curb. It also gives the push to declutter when we need to

Stopped working around end of April 2026. Otherwise reasonably well designed and helpful.
