Redact Shield

Redact Shield is a local-first photo redaction tool for quickly hiding sensitive details before you send, save, or post an image. Choose a photo, camera capture, demo image, or pasted image, then mask private areas with blur, pixelation, or black bars. Auto detection uses Apple Vision on-device to help locate faces and readable text. You stay in control of the final export. Pro privacy workflow tools: - Shield Audit checks detected faces and text against current masks. - Coverage score highlights whether a detected region appears covered. - Open findings can be masked with one tap. - Copyable audit report summarizes detections, covered items, and review-needed items. - Manual brush controls, undo, redo, clear, and three masking styles. - Redacted exports are flattened into a new image only when you choose to share or save. Redact Shield does not require an account, does not upload your images to a developer server, and does not use tracking.
