Top reviews

Love it

Idk what is up with all of the low reviews, if you actually use this place as intended it is SO helpful. No this is not the same as in real life primary care treatment that follows your entire health history…. That is the whole point! It is quick, easy, assessable, and SO affordable

Scam

App doesn’t work. Call support and they say we will charge you for a no show.

Scam

It’s a scam! I showed up for an appointment the provider never got on the video chat ! My card got charged. Literally a scam !!!!I had to speak to two different people with no resolve. I would be calling if I missed an appointment I literally waited for 20 minutes . If you miss the appointment you have to complete there questionnaire again! I did it 3x the lady said I would have a credit at checkout that didn’t happen. It only wanted to charge my card!!! I’d rather pay $200! dollars with a local doctor then go through that again.

SCAM COMPANY

BEWARE! this website and APP is a scam. They will charge you $35 for a consult, and then follow up with a video call telling you they can't approve your medication. STAY AWAY!!

Not free/expensive

The consultations are around $70 and prescriptions are more expensive than other places. Most places offer good discounts but they only offer 10% off your order and still have to pay full price on consultation. There’s better sites for this

Scammer

Totally scammer full

Save your money

Previously with Apostrophe.

I was not given an appointment with a provider. I never spoke to a provider and had no way of contacting a provider.

I filled out everything including what meds I’ve tried and how they did or didn’t work. Included pictures as directed.

I’m then given a prescription that’s over the price on their website and it’s one I stated didn’t work in the past. Contact them via text. Someone responds and after I point out the provider clearly didn’t read my info the communication stops.
A day later I get email communication. Then they inform me they don’t do compound medication. I’m asked what I want, what? That’s why I’m coming to you. I make a suggestion and again communication stops.

Called them and they tell me the info was updated with a new prescription. They added on an oral antibiotic but left the other topical. I inform them that this information was given in my questionnaire and the provider ignored it. I’m told they would correct it and prescribe something else. Days later I get the prescription. It’s $60 for 3 months for the topical and $40 for less than a month of the oral antibiotic. So if that topical causes a reaction or doesn’t work I’m stuck with months of it.

Thankfully my non appointment was $25. They refused to refund. I’m out money but could have been more.

Deleted my account because the email reminders to buy will not stop. Plus, if I can’t talk with the provider this is pointless.

Dishonest

Dishonest company. Wasn’t able to login to account. Representative straight up lied and told me that I wasn’t on an automatic billing plan. I was and I finally figured out how to login and cancel. She straight up lied.

Terrible Service

Your appointment time isn’t your appointment time, you’ll be waiting for a provider for 20 min. That was at least with my first visit. It only gets worse. My second visit, I get a message from support while I’m waiting… saying my provider isn’t available and they were going to get another one for me. Mind you it’s been 15 minutes already. Then proceeds to say that there is none in my area. Why would I be able to schedule the times you provide and then not be available? It’s funny because why does it say there are multiple providers available while I’m waiting for one. They told me my provider will contact me via phone call now. I scheduled a certain time for a reason. All I’m saying is I better get that phone call if not my money back because I am not paying another $30 dollars.

App does not properly load like you’re supposed to

I had an appointment with someone and it did not load like it was supposed to. They sent the link last minute saying that I missed the appointment time. I had to call to reschedule the appointment because it said I missed it. The app does not load properly and it did not send anything until the appointment time.

Quick and easy

My Rx was refilled in less than an hour. I have no complaints.

A lifesaver

South Florida has the worst medical system in the world. Never get sick here. I literally had blood and pus coming out of my ear and was told “that’s not a big deal” from an ENT. This infection never cleared and RedBox Rx provided a “survival script” until I could fly to see a Dr in Houston and get a surgery to remove deeply infected tissue in my mastoid bone.

They literally saved my life. Dr’s in South Florida have a life threatening power trip they are on.

It is scary. The doctors here NEVER prescribed antibiotics of any kind.

This is not a safe place to life.

Scam

Don’t even bother, waste of time and money. You are better off with staying sick and untreated with whatever it is. They also appear to manipulate their customer review data.

NEVER use this app!

I went into tryign this app with significant reservations, as all negative-option subscription services are designed to be evil. THREE WEEKS into the med i was prescribed, i was feeling nauseous, dizzy, and was unable to maintain my vision or standing after extremely light exertion. I stopped taking the med. I immediately reached out to redbox “customer support” to have my subscription canceled. Brandi, the person who responded to my email, refused to cancel my subscription, refused to refund me for a subscription i will never use again, and has now decided to entirely refuse to answer any requests sent. Redbox wnats to take your money and wants you to die while taking it so they can keep taking your money!

Semaglutide is weak

Been on semaglutide oral compound for 11 weeks now and have lost exactly 0 pounds. Dr prescribed the tiniest dose possible and not at the standard recommended dosing schedule used by clinical studies or name brands. RedboxRx claims their oral compounded formula is novel and you can take a smaller dose because the absorption rate is better (sublingual dissolving) rather than just swallowing a pill with water. I understand that in theory this makes sense, but the reality is that I am still 100% hungry all the time and am still overweight with 0 change in pounds or body composition. These pills are bitter and annoying but are ineffective due to low amounts of actual drug being in them. You don’t even know what dose they will send you until it arrives - you fill out your monthly survey on the app and just wait to get what you get! Phentermine, or even OTC weight loss pills are more effective than this watered down semaglutide!!!

Zero sense

Requested appt for sinus infection and antibiotics. I was prescribed Xyzal and steroids. Xyzal is OTC. I’m already taking OTCs. Don’t waste the $70 or the time.

Game-changing telehealth

I’ve used various tele-health services since they became ubiquitous during COVID so I have a good idea of what their pros and cons are.

For me, tele-health is for less serious treatments. After all, if something was a big deal I’d just go to the doctor in-person. The problem is that most tele-health services are set up to be everything to everyone and in the end, visits can end up being even more of a hassle than a trip to urgent care with waiting, or scheduling an appointment with (and then also waiting) to see the PCP.

RedboxRx is different in that it seems designed for the less serious issues—the very things I want to use tele-health for in the first place. This means it ends up being super fast and easy to submit your info and in my case, doing so in the middle of the night, it was reviewed and the Rx written within a couple hours.

RedboxRx has expertly filled what had been a critical gap in our healthcare options. I hope I’ll never get sick again [!!!] but if I do I know where I’ll be going: to my phone, to open this app.

The Dr never contacted me

I did know what prescription I needed but a health care provider never even reached out to me to find out my situation 👎

But it was fairly easy to use and I did receive my medication by mail. No insurance needed

Nickle and Dime you for everything

App constantly freezing and charge you for unnecessary video consultations.
