App is okay, “Realtor” not so much
Multiple no shows from not just one redfin agent but 3 of the 6 i have used on redfin viewing properties across the state. App is fine but ill just contact the listing agent as i guess because they work on commission they’ll show up? Im generally confused they think i would actually list my own property with them given this standard behavior. Try better but no thanks.

Annoying notifications
If you made it easier to see where the notifications for a specific geographic area were coming from so I could turn them off I would rate higher. I no longer want updates on a specific area and I had to turn all notifications off because it was too difficult to see how to turn just those off.
I thought that I had via one of the emails but I was still getting push notifications. So... I just turned them all off. Poor design.

Used to be good
When I first downloaded the app it was always the quickest to show new houses on the market. For the past two months, it’s constantly almost a week behind the other apps I use.

I like searching for homes on this App. Helps me quickly figure out comps and what’s available on the realestate market. Make home shopping easy.
HOA filtering
They removed filtering by HOA fee and that makes it useless to me.

Terrible Realtor, Wrong Notifications
My realtor that I was assigned doesn’t go to tours himself and instead sends someone else who doesn’t know anything about homes. It’s quite odd. Not only that, I found a home I was interested in and sent questions to the realtor. He never got back with me, and the house went pending while I was waiting. I went got a realtor that a friend recommended and it’s been a night and day difference from using this app. If you’re serious about buying a home, do yourself a favor and stay away from Redfin.
Also, I keep receiving alerts for houses in Washington and Oregon despite not looking anywhere near there. My saved searches are for a city across the country from there.

It’s the best!
Poor Algorithm for Gated Community
Home is on a golf course in a gated country club community and is estimated at almost half of a recent sale down the street with similar square footage. Redfin appears to use distance and averages the price with small homes outside the community while ignoring high-value homes within the neighborhood, which skews the valuation far below market.

No point using search criteria it will just send you properties no where near what you set it for. Just use Zillow.

Easy way to see the homes on the market
I hate Redfin
They keep spamming with emails. I unsubscribed from emails and sighed a breath of relief thinking I wouldn’t be spammed with anymore emails. Almost instantly I received another email from Redfin. I then tried to unsubscribe from googles side. Sure enough, I received another email. Totally frustrated with Redfin, I tried to delete my account. It said “unable to delete account. Please try again later.” I wish I had never used redfin.
