Redwood App

Love the app for requesting help and paying rent

Reasonable

Reasonable for basic functions. Failed on two attempts to submit maintenance request. Not well suited for use on a tablet.

No issues

Works seamlessly every time I use it.

First time using app

4 out of 5. 5 meaning good. I hope I completed the maintenance request correctly.

Easy app

Never like to add another app to my phone but the ease is this one is wonderful.

Maintenance request

Maybe need category “other” Also if it is an emergency versus non-emergency

Exceptional

It was very easy to navigate through this app. I absolutely love it. I can’t wait to move in. Thank you.

Convenient app

It’s an efficient and effective weight to communicate service needs.

Easy To Use

Quick, simple and to the point.

Not easy to log in

1: I’d like the option to put a password in. Waiting for an email code is dumb.
2. Took me 4 hours of attempts before I actually got past a spinning wheel to sign in.

3090-101

App is easy to use, would be helpful to see the repair note for work completed once the work order is closed.

Front office

Not the same since Ashleigh left! No correct answers

App

Works well for maintenance requests. Maintenance team very responsive.

Maintenance

Easy to navigate and response is fast.

Simple and effective design

The app is easy to navigate and it gets the job done. What more could you ask for?

Resident

I highly recommend this community any day

Broken voiceover accessibility.

I sincerely wish this app was as wonderful as the community where I live and that its developers were as committed to inclusion and accessibility as Redwood seems to be… at least this has been my experience. Please ensure your app and accompanying online portal are accessible and WCAG compliant. They are not currently. Want a beta tester before you make updates live? I’m happy to help! Currently voiceover users on iOS must turn on screen recognition in order to get through the process of emailing one time passwords. Then, once you receive the email and attempt to enter the code you are sent in the app, you cannot do so because the fields for each digit do not show. This blocks me as a resident from accessing my portal. This is quite honestly a horrible experience. Also, if it weren’t for the awesome neighborhood manager at my community, and Redwood corporate’s commitment to customer service, I’d probably not be a Redwood resident because there were parts of the lease signing and general application process that I needed to get assistance from my now neighborhood manager to complete. Please do better! Again, as a totally blind redwood resident and long-time iPhone user experienced in digital accessibility and compliance, I’m more than willing to assist in testing the app and website before updates go live. I do recognize that often the ball gets dropped in the development process; and that things may easily get missed when sighted people test using technology and systems that they are unfamiliar with. Please understand that accessibility with voiceover is not an option or a feature request; but something to be baked in and implemented as part of the development process for the app. Let’s work together to ensure that all redwood residents regardless of ability may enjoy full access to their Redwood resident portal regardless of how they’re accessing it.

Access code is a pain!

I only wish I could have a password to get in or you could send the approval code to my phone via text instead of having to go to my email each and every time!

App

It’s terrible. I have a hard time at times logging in.

My phone number is incorrect and I cannot fix it

My phone number is incorrect in the app and I cannot fix it. The monthly payments through the app have yet to go smoothly or seamlessly.
It’s almost as if the app purposely fails in order to force us to use automatic payments and/or assign late fees
