### Fixed — content that was unreachable - Four deep species could never be caught: the reel tops out at 250 ft but their bands started deeper. This includes two bosses — **The Grander** (Cabo San Lucas, a paid 24-hour charter) and **Old Greyback** (Kenai Fjords) — plus the Giant Grenadier and Greenland Halibut. All four are now banded to touch reachable depth; three waters' Fish-o-pedia completion bonuses (and the full 247-species dex) are attainable again. ### Fixed — economy and money integrity - Derbies are bound to the water they were entered on. A minimum-stake pond ticket could previously be cashed out against big-game water for a huge, repeatable profit. Casts elsewhere neither count nor score; the Missions card says where your derby is running. - A derby bound to charter water whose permit lapses now settles itself (paying out the best catch on the board) instead of stranding the stake and the ENTER card forever. - Derby entry pricing and binding now agree even if a permit expires while the menu is open; the result message no longer claims "no keeper" while naming your keeper, and shows the right dollar amounts. - Snapped-line results no longer offer to mount (and charge for) a trophy you lost; lost fish and scrap show struck-through values instead of payout green. - Line wear was charged twice when a fight ended in a snap — a fresh spool could die in two break-offs instead of the tuned four or five. - Resetting progress no longer erases purchase history: the one-per-account Starter Bundle can't be sold twice, and the StoreKit crediting ledger (now 500 entries deep) survives, so redelivered transactions can't double-credit. - Shop upgrade cards now quote the stats of the tier you own (the one being upgraded), not whatever lighter/broken gear you happen to have equipped. ### Fixed — stability and performance - A full game scene leaked on every fishing trip (callback retain cycle); long sessions grew memory until iOS killed the app. - The lightning-bolt texture cache grew without bound during storms (~350 KB per strike, kept forever); bolts now reuse a small cached set. - The underwater gradient re-rendered and re-uploaded to the GPU after every single cast; it now redraws only when the water or hour actually changes. ### Fixed — controls - A second finger touching or lifting no longer fires your cast at random power, drops the reel mid-fight, or kills a retrieve; the bobber-depth drag tracks its own finger too. - A system interruption mid-windup (a call, Control Center, app switch) now aborts the cast cleanly instead of launching it at whatever power the meter held. - Rotating the phone during the catch celebration could expose DOCK and silently discard the banked fish; exit is now gated until the catch is settled. ### Fixed — gameplay and presentation - Fish radar read the water to the boat's right even when facing left, and re-rolled every hotspot when the phone rotated. It now reads off the bow, in stable world coordinates. - Only one whale and one sea turtle could ever appear per session; they now return on their intended timers. - Four sounds never played (the hook-set line scream, the derby win fanfare, and both arctic ice sounds) — the files were always in the app. - Kenai blizzards no longer play the rain-on-water loop over falling snow. - A swamp gator could eat the fish that was running with your bait and teleport the camera; the bait-hunting gator also approached at double speed. Both fixed, and stale hunters stand down between casts. - Bait-steal now shows a correctly sized bare hook instead of a stretched blob; snag snaps after a fight no longer claim "It broke you off!"; the "TAP & HOLD to cast" hint pulses again after the first cast. - Lapsed licenses relocate you at the menu instead of mid-render (removes a SwiftUI "publishing during view updates" hazard).
