What's New in ReelGrid

1.1.5

October 29, 2026

4:5 is free. • The 4:5 portrait ratio, the feed format, is now free for everyone. The landscape ratios stay with Pro. • An export now keeps running for a short while if you switch apps mid-export, and a failed export tells you so instead of spinning. • If saving to Photos fails, the export screen says so, with a shortcut to Photos access in Settings. • Purchases waiting for approval (Ask to Buy) no longer show an error. Found a bug, or want something built? Write in — that's where most of this app came from.

User reviews

Doesn’t allow reels to save to album

Doesn’t allow me to save my reels to my album. I’ve tried multiple ways.

Response from developer

Thanks for the feedback. In the new version, exports will now be saved to a "ReelGrid" album in your Photos app. When Photos asks for access, choose Allow Full Access and the album will be created for you. If you choose "More sharing options" on the export page, you'd have a lot more options available to you. I hope this update to version 1.1.3 improves your experience.
