This app used to be lots of fun until they started to censor your work, I’m an artist and I like to have the freedom to create images, luckily there are plenty of good apps nowadays, some cheaper and some free. And they won’t censor you like you were a child. Bye 👋🏻
Used to be amazing
Have had lifetime subscription and access to Reface. Has left many conversations in tears for laughing. But lately have had issues with any pictures being not flagged as inappropriate. The last group is the pictures from the movie of Twins with Danny DeVito and Arnold standing next to each other. Have been told to delete and reinstall with no help. Now told that they are updating their program and try to upload different pictures. It wouldn’t be an issue if it didn’t seem to flag a majority of the photos as inappropriate the last few months. Haven’t tried to use it much because of this. Even after spending money for access.

It’s pretty awesome !! I didn’t even recognise myself in some of the pictures. You upload different photos of yourself to see yourself with different hairstyles. The only downside is that everything appears to be auto-generated. I would like to be able to see hairstyle x on photo y. Perhaps it’s an option! .. still playing :)

Besides the unfortunate pay wall the app doesn’t give you many things for the $7 dollar fee to use the app, This app however does offer some quite good ai imagery better then what I was expecting, quite alright

Almost always does a great job and gives you a lot to work with.
You PAY for them to use your image and biometric data
Not only did I have to pay to access my supposed ‘free’ images, but the app asks for permissions that go well beyond reasonable. I used the app to test different hair styles. The styles suggested are really unfashionable and the quality of rendering in the images is very poor. Huge regrets downloading this. I want my money back and to delete the images I uploaded.

I signed up for this thinking it would be interesting to try new styles. I tried it and found it to not be useful, but forgot to cancel it. My fault. When I noticed a fee hitting my card WEEKLY for 19.99 from Neocortex, I had to research to see what it was. They’ve been charging me $80/ month for something I wasn’t even using. It said there would be a weekly subscription fee, but they just didn’t bother to say how much. There is NO WAY I would agree to pay $20 a week for an app, even if I was using it all the time. That’s an insane amount of money for this silly app. They charged me $20/week for 10 months before I noticed it. That’s $800!!! Please don’t fall for this. ITS A TOTAL MONEY GRAB!!!

It seems like every update just makes this App worse.
More than half the attempts to generate AI pictures fail. The ones that do go through often look ridiculous. And while I understand the need to put an brand watermark on AI generated images whoever thought that the best way to do that was to put an ugly black bar at the bottom of every image deserves to be fired. It ruins every final image and effectively makes the function useless. Might be time to delete if these stupidities continue.

I was really surprised that the quality of the photos and the different photos I love having selfie because you can use them for many different things.
Do not waste your money
Right after paying for the lifetime service they began rejecting headshots of friends to use. Claiming it was inappropriate. How can someone’s face be inappropriate? Every picture has to be disputed. This is a very bad app
