iPad version would be great!
All In One
Recently discovered after the demise of TV Time, and so far so good.
A UI that takes a minute to get used to, but when familiarity kicks in it’s quite intuitive.
The fact that everything is in one place, movies, TV shows, Anime, that’s really handy, and I know that they are intending to introduce books and video games too, heck if they add music would there be a need for anything other tracking app?
The only downside I’ve noticed is the character limit on reviews. Having been on Letterboxd for 10 years, I’ve amassed quite a hefty portfolio, and moving to Refract to be faced with a 2000 character count is… challenging, but it has meant I’ve become more disciplined, but I don’t have the freedom to explore ideas (I don’t write for others, I write for me as I find it helps me understand movies/shows better). Maybe I just need to start a blog.
Early days, but so far so good. There are paid tiers but it’s all aesthetics, everything you have access to everything you need off the bat completely Ad free.

Made Leaving TV Time So Much Easier
I came to Refract after TV Time announced its shutdown, and I genuinely could not have asked for a better transition. I had years and years of viewing history to move, with tens of thousands of items, and Refract managed to recover nearly everything. Only 40 titles didn’t make it over, which was honestly better than I expected.
What has impressed me most, though, is the team behind the app. They’ve been incredibly transparent throughout the migration, communicating openly about issues, updates and what they’re working on. When I had an account issue, I reached out and they personally fixed it for me. That level of communication and connection to an app’s development is rare and made a stressful transition feel as smooth as possible.
I also really appreciate their commitment to keeping the core tracking experience free and, importantly, making our data accessible to us. After nearly losing years of history with TV Time, knowing I’m not handing my data over to be held hostage matters to me.
The app itself is clean, intuitive and enjoyable to use, and the developers are actively listening to community feedback and continuing to improve it. I’m excited to see what Refract becomes. I’m definitely sticking around.

Très bonne application. L’interface est très agréable. Il y a toutes les fonctionnalités et l’équipe de développement est vraiment à l’écoute de nos suggestions d’amélioration !

j’ai découvert cette appli suite à la fermeture de tv time et je la préfère à tv time.
l’interface est superbe, les développeurs travaillent tous les jours pour améliorer l’application selon les idées des utilisateurs, il y a aucune pub et rien à payer (sauf si on veut soutenir l’application) c’est vraiment la meilleure application merci beaucoup

The best alternative
I was a TV time refugee, and I’ve been incredibly impressed. I think it’s actually better than TV time and the developers have been turning out new features non-stop and been amazingly responsive. I love that all the core features are free and the subscription is optional to show your support and get a few few cosmetic extras. Ignore the comments about it being slow - that was just the sudden increase in users.

O app é bom, importei meus dados do Trakt sem problemas. Só acho que precisam refinar melhor o conteúdo específico de cada região. Por exemplo, apesar de eu selecionar a região Brasil, o app exibe títulos e pôster em inglês. Além disso, deveria ter a opção de traduzir comentários para o nosso idioma.

App muito fácil de usar e muito completo, me adaptei mais rapido do que imaginava. Agora depois de algumas semanas que estou usando recomendo para todos que querem acompanhar as series e filmes. O app é novo então todo dia tem uma novidade

This app is getting better everyday. In the early stages it was very slow but now it running perfectly, shoutout the Devs. This app blends the perfect amount of aesthetics with functionality. Provides great info without being overwhelming. Tracks movies, shows, and more!There is alot of apps coming out rn now after TV Time shutdown, but don’t waste your time just get this one, trust.

Overall really satisfied
The app still has a few minor bugs occurring here and there but I’am overall really satisfied with all the features (and the get fixed rather quickly)+ they keep rolling new stuff out

Un grand BIG-UP à l’équipe qui a su nous offrir une alternative à TV Time.
Ça a pris du temps pour tout importer, il y a eu des bugs mais maintenant l’application fonctionne à merveille. L’ergonomie est vraiment très bien.

La meilleure alternative à TV Time
Cette application mérite d’être connue car elle est fluide, claire et bien optimisée. Il y a encore du chemin à faire pour être aussi bien optimisé que l’exceptionnelle TV Time. Mais on n’en est pas loin.
J’espère simplement que l’application aura les moyens de trouver son publique pour perdurer dans le temps. Je conseille vivement en tout cas. Prise en main simple et rapide. Design moderne. Il manquera peut-être à certain une page uniquement dédiée au calendrier.

Ça marchait bien…
Jusqu’à la dernière maj où l’app mouline et ne se lance pas sur iPhone 17. Va falloir bosser et tester avant de proposer un modèle payant 🤭😱😇

I barely write reviews ever for apps but i have to with this app, they were absolutely hounded when TVTime announced they were done and took on all the new users on discord and on the app they’ve been very open and listened to every feedback and with them being such a small team they handled it amazingly. as for the app, if you liked TVTime this is the same it’s very sociable like LetterBoxd they are working on several things including adding Games and Books that it could end up being one place where you track all media you’ve consumed. right now i’m only using it for shows but i genuinely might move my letterboxd and goodreads over once everything has settled down.
