Don't be fooled.

I downloaded this app to look for things to trade for, and to give some things away. When I got signed in, the items it was suggesting to me were hundreds of miles away and most were posted over a year ago, and many of them two or more years ago.
In the settings, you can set it to display the newest and/or closest items first, but only if you sign up for the premium service and pay $1.99 a month.
YOU HAVE TO PAY MONEY TO FIND OUT IF THERE ARE ANY ITEMS IN YOUR AREA OR CURRENTLY AVAILABLE AT ALL.
So I could set up a recurring payment and then find out if people even use the app.

Dear user, you DO NOT need to pay to sort items from closest or newest. You don't even need to login to use the feature. The reason why you don't see items in your area is because nobody has posted anything yet. But you can start posting giveaways to help your community. You can also browse things for ship under "Ships", only need to pay for shipping to get free stuff. 🙌

“Free” app charges to input location!!

I love the idea of giveaway apps. Who doesn’t have stuff they don’t need and if it can bless someone else, wonderful!
I was excited to try this app because of its privacy policy. I do not want to download a free app that tracks me, stores my location, my searches, etc. etc.

Sounded great and I was excited to post my first free giveaway. Added Photos, description, etc., and all went well until the location. Obviously I don’t one people from three states away inquiring about picking up a free step stool I want to give away. The app says I can put my ZIP Code, but when you click to do that, it requires that you pay a premium at $2/mo ($24/yr). (I’m rounding up a penny). Pardon me? $24 to just put my location? Location seems a necessary part of any post. Perhaps this doesn’t happen when you allow the app to access your location, I don’t know. But bottom line I was looking forward to use this and I’m quite dissatisfied.

Sorry for the unsatisfied experience. We are thrilled you were trying to post the first giveaway. Yes, we need location permission in order to show items to your local community. Premium membership is for users who need to browse items that's not near where they are currently located.

Nice app.

This is a fantastic app to donate items that we no longer want to use. I donated a couple of items and built a friendship with a neighbor doing so. Keep using and love it.
