Does not work

I downloaded this app to obtain a VAT refund after visiting Spain. The online info about this app did not say it was only for Belgium and apparently that service isn’t even working. Time to delete this one. Very deceptive.

Right idea but that’s where it ends.

So, visited lovely Belgium and bought an outfit with the salesperson convincing me that I would get back 15% by using an easy app Refundit. Well, what a PIA to load everything. As one viewer noted, they reject almost everything. As a frequent international traveler, it’s hard to load a boarding pass but this app thinks you can easily load it right away. WiFi isn’t great in this country so I waited until I got to the airport. Went to customs, and they told me to check my bags since I was transferring through London. The Refundit app took too long and by the time their app was working again, it said my request was rejected because I had to go to customs and show my items. Long story - this app promises a lot but doesn’t deliver. It was a lot of wasted time and aggravation during check in and customs to deal with. In short - don’t buy from Belgium designers. They can’t guarantee the vat refund.
