About
Regime Card is one daily read of US market risk.
After each US market close, eight cross-asset signals (credit stress, equity volatility, bond market volatility, currency carry, commodity growth, sector leadership, defensive rotation and the yield curve) become one reading from 0 to 100: a percentile ranked against the last five years. Low readings are Risk-Off, high readings Risk-On, and every reading falls in one of five regimes: Risk-Off, Mildly Off, Neutral, Mildly On and Risk-On.
TODAY
The latest settled reading, its regime, where it sits on the scale and how it moved over the past five trading days. Every reading is locked into a public record the day it is published, and you can check that record yourself.
HISTORY
The reading over time, ranked against 1, 2, 3 or 5 years or every day since 2008. Touch and drag to read any day, open the chart full screen to zoom in, and compare it with QQQ or SPY. Below it, what the S&P 500 did in the 5 and 20 trading days after each reading, regime by regime: the typical return, how often it rose, and the bad week or bad month.
RETURNS BY REGIME
Search the covered US stocks, sector ETFs and coins by ticker or name. Each page shows what the asset did in every regime over 1 month to 1 year: the typical return, the usual range and how often it rose. A stock's page also compares it with the other stocks in its sector.
WIDGETS
Keep the reading on your Home Screen or Lock Screen. Widgets update after each close and say when the market is closed.
ALERTS
Turn on one notification for the closes where the regime changes. Nothing on other days.
No account, no ads, no tracking.
Every figure describes the past; none of it is a forecast. For informational purposes only. Not investment advice.
