No sending notifications

For some reason the app is not sending me notifications no matter what I do.

Still difficult to test drive.

Seems like it could be a decent app, but the three straight five-second ads while setting up the first reminder just made me want to delete it, which I did.
Please don’t respond with “just pay the three bucks and get a refund if you don’t like it”, which is a disingenuous response.
If it’a good app, reduce the ads and people will buy it on its own merit.
As it is now, you’re pushing people away with having too many ads in the free version, which I imagine would be losing you money.
Good luck!

Please check the newest version. It should be much easier to test drive it now.

Great, Simple App. Actually Chimes on the Hour!

This simple app works as advertised.

Unlike about the first dozen or so viewed that purport being an hourly chime, they either spoke the hour, some in poorly accented English, or had some brash cuckoo, or Big Ben Clock tone.

This app uses the standard Apple ringtone/ alert tone library familiar to many. I use the brief, soft, chimes in the list as a gentle reminder of the time… perfect.

I’m now looking at the upgraded versions.

Fantastic app.

Best timer app I’ve used yet. Would be 6 stars if had Apple Watch app too.

Impossible to test drive

I *think* this app was just what I was looking for, and I would have been happy to pay for it, but I couldn’t get through the process of setting up ONE SINGLE REMINDER to see if I understood how it works without being repeatedly interrupted by intrusive full-screen ads. An infuriating trial experience; I would rather have just gambled the $3 and bought it outright than go through the frustration of trying to evaluate the “free” version.

Hi Josh, thanks for your feedback. Starting from version 2.3 amount of ads for free users are less now. If you still aren’t able to test app because of ads I would suggest to purchase an upgrade and return money back in case if this app doesn’t suit you. Nice

I got this to hopefully remind me to get up every hour. I like that you can set times. It runs and shows notifications but I can’t get it to make sound.

Good app

Free version has issues

iPad crash after installing it.
No way to delete a reminder.
No way to customize the reminder sound.

Maybe the pro version actually works, but I don’t know.

Response from developer

Fake review, because not a single crash is reported via automated app reports. I tested free version of application thoroughly and it works perfectly on iPad. It is possible to delete reminder from Main screen by swiping it or via Edit screen by pressing Delete button. Custom reminder sounds is available in the new version (feature was not mentioned in app description at the time of review). Great app, great technical support

I had some formatting issues but TopDan Support was quickly on top of it and corrected with a new release!
