What's New in Rehearsal Music Player
1.5
April 29, 2026
Painted themes, louder playback, smoother controls. • Each new rehearsal now picks one of nine hand-painted theme images — abstract perspective, Louisiana swamp with kraken, grey whale aquarell, vibrant coral reef, red rock crab, steampunk airship over a gothic city, neon-noir cyberpunk skyline, polar bear hunt under the ice, Amazonian anaconda emerging from the river. Every project gets its own visual identity. • Tracks play at full loudness, matching the iOS Music app. (Some songs previously felt too quiet even at 100% volume — that's fixed.) • Tempo controls (the tortoise and hare buttons) behave properly: no more silent no-ops, no more brief audio blip when adjusting speed while paused, and the percent indicator stays in sync after navigating away and back. Range is 50–200%. • The rehearsal screen no longer clips the bookmark count or the Play button on iPhone landscape, iPad, or iPad split-view sizes. • On Mac (Designed for iPad), the player controls sit inside the app window instead of spilling off both edges.
