Glitchy and minigame isn’t fun
I love the Witcher and I’ve enjoyed other Reigns games but this one is kind of a mess.
Used to work
Game crashes on my iPhone 16 Pro. Uninstall and reinstall doesn’t fix anything. Freezes then game flickers till app is force closed.
Unfortunately Doesn’t Work
I’ve loved every single other Reigns game - also a huge Witcher fan, so this seemed like the perfect combination. The framework for the game is great. There’s a lot of variety and so much to do; however, that makes it all the more frustrating that the game is unplayable.
While it worked initially, the farther I’ve progressed, the more it’s been freezing and crashing. Not only that, but it locks up and freezes my entire phone for a couple of minutes. I really hope this gets fixed soon so I can give it another try since this game has so much potential. Please patch this asap! Thank you 🙏

Game keeps locking up
The game is very good but it keeps locking up. I cannot figure out why. I’ve reinstalled and started a new save and still happens. If it worked it would be 5 stars but when it happens it’s very disruptive.
To fix I have to hold the lock and volume up button to show the shutdown screen and then exit that and force quit the app. Sometimes progress is saved sometimes not. It’s extremely frustrating. Will update review if this gets fixed

TERRIBLE PERFORMANCE
The performance and stability are absolutely terrible! I’m using an iPhone 17 Pro, and I’ve never been able to play this game continuously for more than 3 minutes. It constantly freezes, crashes, and flickers… I have no idea where all these positive reviews are coming from. It’s awful!
Could have been great
The gameplay itself is nice. But the game freezes and bugs out every time I try.
Actually entertaining
I’ve been a fan of many Witcher IPs. This is one of them that I actually enjoy. It’s silly lighthearted fun

Game was fine at first but now freezes phone every time I try to play. Can’t even start playing.

I’ve started 2 saves and swiped through so many times — my wife might start thinking I’m on Tinder!
Very fun, just a few gripes
First off, I’m having a blast! It’s got fun snappy gameplay, the inspirations are a neat system to keep things interesting and give you some direction, it’s a really great bit of game for the money. My only issues are with the end screens and scoring. For one, the sound design for counting up the points is grating. For two, you cannot skip individual parts of the scoring- only the entire recap. If I want to see how I did fulfilling my quests but don’t want to sit and listen to the point counter prattle on, I have no option. It would be really nice if you could skip thru the counter but still see the individual star ratings, or have a way to click on each card after the fact and review them for what you unlocked (new endings, characters, etc). These issues are in no way game breaking, but they’re a little extra bit of sauce I’d really appreciate. Especially changing the tone of the point counter!

Fun and frustrating
The stories do remind me of a funnier take on The Witcher universe and the music is great. The fights can be frustrating. Maybe it’s my phone but it can feel unresponsive a lot of times.
Bard‘s greatest ballad
Big fan of the entire Reigns series, and this one absolutely delivered. I wasn’t especially familiar with The Witcher beforehand, but I still had a great time and ended up really enjoying the world through the game. The Bard viewpoint was a brilliant idea.
But now I can’t stop thinking about how incredible a Reigns: Dune would be. The whole universe is basically built for this kind of gameplay: Spice production, imperial politics, the Bene Gesserit, religious influence, ecology, war, prophecy, survival, fremen and shifting alliances. It would be such a perfect match.
If the devs see this please, please consider but I understand with rights it might be hard.

Great idea plagued by constant performance crashes
As a huge fan of the Witcher series I was excited to see this surprise launch, but unfortunately the game is unplayable for more than 5 minutes before it freezes and makes my phone completely unresponsive to any input. Hope to see some improvement soon, but for now it’s unplayable.

I enjoy every Reigns game to some extent, some of them more than others, and while I thought this would be one. I just had a little bit of fun with it first it turns out to be a lot better. The card system in the game is really fun and the combat is enjoyable as well. If you like the Witcher and you’ve never played Reigns, this would be a great place to try it. I’m loving this game.

Ein sehr gutes Spiel für jemanden, der ein fan von Geschichten ist.
Juste un skin The Witcher
Ce n’est ni plus ni moins qu’un simple skin the Witcher 3. Les personnages, les thématiques ainsi que la bande son nous rappellent qu’on est dans l’univers de The Witcher mais c’est tout.
Reigns est pas nature un jeu binaire, oui ou non, alors que TW3 est exactement son opposé. Tout est fait de nuances de gris, d’histoire complexes, du « moindre mal », du bon gré mal gré et ce jeu avec ses quelques lignes nous demandant de faire un choix dans la peau de Géralt ne peux malheureusement pas nous le proposer. Il est quasiment impossible de réellement incarner geralt car certaines jauges montent trop vite nous assurant un game over en ayant pourtant fait des choix dans la lignée de ceux de geralt. Et pour finir il n’y a aucune notion d’argent, or un sorceleur ne fait quasiment jamais rien pas bonté.
Un jeu pour les fans de reigns et non ceux de The Witcher.
