Online play but no notifications?
It’s awesome to get to play this online, on mobile at that. I don’t get notifications when it’s my turn though? I’ve tried signing out and reinstalling the app but no luck. Have to open the app to see that it’s my turn.

Good. Could be better.
There is only one map. The instructions are difficult to understand at first. I was unclear on how to do a peasant riot for example. But entertaining.

Great. But bring us T&E
Predecessor, Tigris & Euphrates is a more timeless and unforgiving game of Knizia’s. Please bring it to us. I liked the version of T&E that was once available.

Best game, but needs online assistance
Devs, this game is amazing. The best, but it’s unplayable online. Sometimes, when I go to place a tile, the tile will get stuck in mid air, and basically freezes the whole game until a bot takes me over “for taking to long on my turn”. And then, so I’m forced to quit the game and when I come back, there’s no option to join back in. This needs fixing as I haven’t been able able to complete a single game online

Excellent but with a major (but not fatal) design flaw
I love this straightforward implementation of one of my favorite board games. App is attractive and works well EXCEPT that the tiles are key at the bottom of my screen, which means that half the time I try to slide a tile onto the board, my iPhone thinks I’m trying to switch apps. Could the tiles please be placed on the side or something?? Maybe in a corner? Very frustrating.

Fantastic implementation of a great boardgame
There’s a lot of great boardgames that have miserable ports to digital. This one is great. Easy to use. Great visuals and music which enhance the game and don’t slow it down. If you don’t like it, chances are its because you really don’t understand how to play. There’s a video walkthrough of this app. Give it a try.

Awful AI.
On hard the AI just destroys all the Governor tiles from the start and then each player just keeps tile dumping until end of game, leaving everyone with a score of zero.

Good Solo mode, but wish there were some key options
Played Solo mode thus far. I’ve played T&E before (IRL and on the app), but only read up about this game. Knowing about half of how this game works, I was able to jump into a game with little issue. Rules can be referenced in-game, and they’re separated out by category (e.g. Actions, Tiles, Revolt) which is convenient. Also convenient is you can suspend and resume games.
AI trounces me even on easy AI difficulty level. I’m neutral about this because even though it’s nice to win, a challenging AI has its own perks. Would like it if we had the ability to pick our own faction, rather than being stuck with the Dragon (and no, it’s not just b/c the Arrow/Archer faction seems to always win Revolts and Wars. That was my preference in T&E as well). Also, add the option to make score public/open info. Last but not least, why can’t I undo the point before I need to select a Pagoda on the board toto steal?

Nothing about this experience is smooth or works well.
Please have an option to remove mist!
Love the game and the implementation, but the mist really annoys me and makes it harder to see the board, not fair on people with bad eyesight!

Beautifully Done
They made this a joy to play. Love the graphics, etc. Can knock out an AI game of three players in fifteen minutes. AI was tough, but now I consistently win about 2/3 of games on hard. Only bug I’ve noticed after 30+ games is that when I have two blue tiles and two green tiles and I’m wanting to move a monument, it only allows me to destroy a tile (peasant revolt) instead. Haven’t found a way around it.

Game needs maintenance
Bugs are making the game borderline unplayable. Constantly freezing during tile or leader placement or not registering that you completed your actions. Having to constantly close and reopen the app to redo the same move over again.

Dire Wolf has lost its way.
They used to be the best company in the digital board game adaptation business. But now they charge you $125 for Dune: Imperium, and don’t give you all the components after over 13 months. And support will not respond.
Misty
I love this game and love the app. The AI are fairly good. But there is one annoying thing that seems a trend in Direwolf. That is that when you zoom out the screen goes all Misty and cloudy. I spend most of my gaming time zoomed out in this way, I don’t see any value in this mist. Same problem with Root, another Direwolf game.

Mostly great, with a few bugs
Core implementation of the game is great.
But the account creation process has failed twice on separate devices (we had to create our accounts on the website instead) and once when playing vs an AI, the computer froze for several minutes and when I closed and reopened the app, it had entirely lost the (80% complete) game :(

Great game, buggy app
The game design is awesome and it is a lot of fun. However, I encountered at least 3 bugs, which prevent me from giving a better rating:
1. The game often tells me it's my turn in multiplayer games, when it's not. Only fix is to restart it as even when I say „no“ to the question of I want to go to a game, It'll just keep cycling through all of them and not let me do anything else.
2. Sometimes it simply won’t load into a multiplayer game that I selected. Fix is once again to restart the app. This one happens less often and is less annoying since at least it is not confusing.
3. This one I had only once so far in a multiplayer-game with 4 people: All leaders of ox that were on the board where displayed as leaders of me (archer). Luckily mine where glowing so I could still tell them apart. If that would have happened with two opponents it would have been worse.
