Fun and Functional!
RekoGen has been absolutely fantastic in keeping the dozens of anime’s I want to watch, in order! Being able to see detailed information before I even start the show is awesome, and makes me want to start watching asap! Love the features/forums that feel like I can nerd out with fellow fans!
Finally an anime app that actually does everything right
I’ve tried a lot of anime apps, and this is one of the few that actually feels complete. It brings recommendations, tracking, and community into one place without feeling messy or overcomplicated.
The recommendation system is genuinely good. After using it a bit, it starts suggesting things that actually match what you like, not just the same popular shows everyone already knows. I’ve already found a few new series I wouldn’t have picked on my own.
The watchlist is simple but really well executed. It’s easy to keep track of what I’m watching and what’s next, and I don’t have to think about it. Everything just stays organized.
I also like the extra features. The forums and trivia aren’t something I use all the time, but they make the app feel more alive and give it more personality than a basic tracker.
The design is clean and modern, and it just feels good to use. Nothing feels clunky or confusing.
Overall, this is one of the few apps I actually enjoy opening. It’s useful, well-designed, and clearly built with some thought behind it. Definitely worth trying if you watch anime regularly.
