I paid for premium years ago (a few dollars) but when my daughter went to download it, it’s now $99.99 for a sleep around app? Who in their right mind would pay that? Ridiculous!

Shuts off after alarm.
App has worked for me for 10 years now but lately it shuts down when I snooze my alarm on my phone. Wasn’t doing that before but has been for a week now.
Edit: 13 years now and latest iPhone update turns off sleep sounds instead of resuming if you snooze your alarm

Shuts itself off unexpectedly
Used this app for many years. It now quits unexpectedly all night, multiple times a night and is therefore useless now.

I love this app, I downloaded it seven plus years ago and paid $1.99 ONCE - But when I went to download it for my husband on his phone today, it’s $100 - WTH?! It’s a good app, but not a hundred bucks good! Otherwise, I’d rate it 5 stars.

Was great but has slipped a bit
For some reason the app does not retain all sounds. IE sounds it previously downloaded will suddenly not work a day later AND they seemingly take ages to download/work again. I don’t understand why it would just auto delete a sound after a day or so or I’m guessing that’s what it does because why else would it have to download it again? It’s very aggravating. In fact it’s infuriating to lay down, get comfortable, switch from an audio book to this app because I’m about to fall asleep and then find out that the sound/s/mix I want to play suddenly doesn’t work even though I used it earlier in the day or the night before. It’s BONKERS!!! And it’s been 6 years since the last update??!!!

Unusable
Every time I start the app for one and only sound this sound restarts downloading. Every frecking time. How stupid this offload logic is inside the app?

I have autism so sleep does not come easy to me. I paid for the pro version of this app all the way back in 2014. I have been using it every day since. The sounds are great and the fact that you can set it to close the app when it’s finished is great. I get scared my alarm won’t go off so the fact the app auto closes makes me happy. I like how you can mix and match to make anything you want. Some nights I want to fall asleep with the sound of rain on a tent and others I want to fall asleep listening to waves crashing against the rocks. All I can say, if you are reading this there is a reason I tried this app and never touched another app in 10 years. Get pro, you won’t regret it. <3

10 years later I still love it
10 years ago I paid $5 for the premium version of this app. I was originally using the free version and it was so useful I wanted the full version. Perhaps the best $5 I ever spent.
At this point, I’ve trained myself that when this app goes on, I am focused on whatever task is at hand. It got me through writing my dissertation, and is a helpful ally when reading in public spaces. If I just need a few minutes to reset, this is my go to.
I mostly use the mixes. I don’t switch it up a lot, and I’m surprised at how I don’t get bored or annoyed by the repetition. Quite the opposite. I have used the mediations here and there (not for sleep - I don’t sleep with earbuds) and found them useful.
Thanks to the developers more making a highly useful tool to promote calm and focus. I expect I’ll use this for another 10 years at least!

When I go to mixes, it crashes. Used to not be a problem.

I love this app. It’s so easy to tailor make your relaxing music or ambient noise mixes. Great for meditating or just taking a moment to chill out. The interface is very basic and endlessly customizable. I enjoy being able to design my own soundscape. Mostly, I use it when I am reading. I throw a little brown noise down and then try and pick sound that would go along with the book that I’m reading. There’s been so many apps over the years that I’ve purchased, and they have disappeared as Apple updates its iOS, but this one goes on and on and on. I think I’ve had it since my first or second iPhone, and I am still happy with it to this day. Love being able to save my soundscapes and the ease of use to design them. Keep up the good work!

Anytime and place
I have used this app for background sounds at the office, during gatherings, in the car, and especially to sleep. Tons of combinations to set any tone, and well worth your time. If you only use it as a sleep machine, it is still the best out there.
Mixes not working anymore
I have been a longtime user of this app for many years. Every night, my AirPods go in with white noise plus binaural beats in the background and a podcast set for 15 min timer in the foreground. After 15 min, podcast ends and just the white noise/binaural beats plays through the night. Works great. Until… In the last week, the Mixes function causes the app to unexpectedly quit. Just updated to iOS 16.7 and the problem persists, locking me out of my array of favorite mixes.
