Relay mirrors your iPhone's screen onto your Tesla's own browser nothing is installed in the car. Open Waze, YouTube, Netflix, TikTok or anything else on your phone, and watch it on the car's centre display. The picture streams directly between your phone and the car over WebRTC, encrypted end to end. HOW IT WORKS • Pair once by typing the six-digit code shown on the car's browser. • Relay remembers your car next time, it reconnects on its own. • Works over Wi-Fi or LTE. When the car and phone are on different networks, Relay routes through an encrypted relay automatically, without you doing anything. BUILT FOR THE CAR • The picture stays upright, however you hold your phone. • Up to 1440p, switchable live without dropping the connection. • Adapts automatically to a weak signal instead of freezing. • Optional microphone audio alongside the picture. PRIVACY The video is never recorded or stored, by Relay or anyone else. It travels directly between your two devices, and stays encrypted even on the rare route that needs a relay server to get there. RELAY PREMIUM The first 24 hours after pairing your car are free. After that, Relay Premium is $3.99 USD a month (or the equivalent for your country), billed through your Apple ID and auto-renewing until cancelled.
