About

Ask a question. Choose the texts. See where the answer comes from. Religious Library is an AI-assisted sacred text study app for exploring and comparing religious traditions with clear citations. Instead of acting as a general chatbot, it retrieves relevant passages from the source packs you select and prepares a respectful, source-grounded answer. HOW IT WORKS 1. Choose one or more source packs. 2. Ask a question in English. 3. Read a focused answer with references to the selected texts. 4. Open cited passages, save the answer, or compare perspectives across sources. EXPLORE 18 SOURCE PACKS ACROSS 11 TRADITIONS Study the Quran; King James Version, Douay-Rheims, and World English Bible; JPS 1917 and Hebrew Tanakh; Bhagavad Gita, selected Upanishads and Vedic Hymns; Dhammapada; Tao Te Ching and Zhuangzi; Analects; selected Avesta passages; Kojiki and Nihongi; selected Sikh writings; and Jaina Sutras. Complete works and selected-text collections are clearly labeled so you can understand the scope of each source. DESIGNED FOR THOUGHTFUL STUDY - Compare religious traditions or Bible translations automatically - View canonical references and original-language citations where available - Save answers and access them again on signed-in devices - Read long responses in a focused reading mode - Choose short, balanced, or detailed answers - Copy and share answers with references - Pin, rename, and manage chat history - Use light, dark, or system appearance RESPECTFUL BY DESIGN Religious Library aims to describe what the selected texts say without promoting, judging, or dismissing a belief. If the chosen sources do not provide a strong basis for an answer, the app is designed to say so clearly. This app is a study and comparison companion. It is not a replacement for clergy, religious scholars, qualified teachers, or formal study. PLANS AND CREDITS The free plan includes limited monthly credits and may display ads. Optional monthly subscriptions provide more credits, longer chat retention, and an ad-free experience. Available plans and prices are shown before purchase. AI AND PRIVACY Before the first AI request, the app explains what information is shared, identifies the services that receive it, and asks for permission. If permission is declined, no AI request is sent. Questions, selected source packs, and relevant retrieved passages may be processed through Lorden Games' secure Firebase/Google Cloud backend and Google Gemini or Vertex AI services only to retrieve sources, generate grounded answers, and prevent abuse. Users can withdraw AI data-sharing permission or delete their account from Settings.
