What's New in Remio

2.5.0

August 9, 2026

• See all your computers as a grid — A new layout on the Home screen shows every paired computer as a large live preview instead of the spinning ring. Tap the layout switch beside "All Computers" — Remio remembers which one you prefer. • The frame-rate slider now does what it says — Choosing 120 frames per second really gives you 120 on iPhones with a 120 Hz screen; before, it quietly stayed at 60 no matter what you picked. The slider also stops at whatever your screen can actually show, so you never spend data on frames that get thrown away. • Fixed two cursors on screen at once — With "Show host cursor" turned on, Remio kept drawing its own pointer on top of the computer's, leaving two cursors chasing each other. • Fixed a picture that could stay frozen after a network hiccup — If the connection repaired itself but the video didn't come back, nothing noticed and the session stayed frozen. Remio now spots it and restores the picture within a few seconds. • Fixed a quality preset using more data than you allowed — After choosing the Ultra preset, lowering the maximum bitrate by hand left the preset's higher floor in place, so Remio kept using more data than you'd asked for.
