I wouldn’t recommend I has some problems with the app. All because my phone was connected to the same network to the tv that doesn’t really make sense.

Pay to remove ads
When you change phones lol you have to pay again to remove the ads and this does work but not all the time also the volume doesn’t work

The thing I really don’t like about the app is that the volume button doesn’t work and it really annoys me because I can’t watch TV in the morning.

It is very handy to have. When can’t find the hand held remote control. Also if the original. Breaks or the batteries stop working. And don’t have any to replace the duff ones. I have needed this app. When my wife took the sky remote to the kitchen. Why? No one knows. Also when it slips down the back of the sofa. The dog has run off with it and hid it. As if it was a bone.

As I lost my remote found this app absolutely amazing to this day I still can’t find my remote and haven’t been able to still this app is wonderful SO easy to access and to set up 100% recommend

Stopped working altogether. Cannot find any boxes cannot add any manually!!

Used to work perfectly. Now completely reset with the update. Cannot connect to sky Q box either auto or manually. Kicked out back to initial set up. But DOES NOT find any devices. All connected to same network but this app no longer works. Such a shame. Cannot manually enter IP address as STILL doesn’t find the device.

Adverts ruin its use
This is fine apart from repeating adverts, particularly the iPhone storage one which can only be cleared by closing the app. VERY POOR
Ads spoilt the app
It was such a good app and I wanted to rate it 5 but recently there have been ads popping up. Anytime I touch the remote it brings up an ad for 5 seconds, which makes it annoying to use. This wasn’t the case for the first few months, it’s only recently started giving me ads.
I can’t even use it properly without having an ad causing issues so it’s time to find a new remote app.
