If you need to control your sky glass tv from your phone, go to app store and download sky remote from sky tv. It is totally free. This one charges £3:99 pounds weekly. Not worth it when you can get it for free.
Great when it works
It’s great when it works, but often after a short period of time the app fails to recognise the TV it was connected to. The only way to counter this issue is to turn the TV off and back on again so it’s a little bit annoying and not consistent.
An amazing app for how cost effective it is!
From just about 10 minutes of using this app, I’ve had a brilliant experience, no lag or delay, and it works reliably with keyboard input into apps! I am very happy with this app and am rating it 5 stars for functionality and surprising quality! I would recommend this to someone who has either broken their sky remote or can’t find it or just want to try a new experience like I did! Thank you developers for an amazing remote alternative

whilst the app/remote is functional, the price is not worth it. the app will try to charge you £3.99 a week for premium subscription; however this is available at £2.99 a month via subscriptions on your apple account. also no option at free with ads. bad business practice.

I paid to download the remote control only to find out that I’d need to input the IP Address of my Sky Q. Guidelines were even provided on how to use a remote control to find your IP address. Problem is I downloaded the Remote Control because my 18-months old misplaced mine.
So I’ve paid for a remote control app on my phone that I can’t use because I don’t have a remote control to find my Sky Q’s IP address. Is this a scam or something?

Downloaded this to try it out. Could not get past bullying Black Friday ad. Would not let me proceed to try app. So don’t know if this app is any good. Gave it one star because it would not let me submit.

Now, I’m being told the same app is available for £3.99. This feels like a psychological tactic designed to pressure users into buying quickly by making them think they’re getting a good deal.
Ultimately, this pricing approach has left me feeling misled and somewhat scammed, as the app doesn’t deliver anything beyond what’s already freely available and I’m no longer using.
Also the developer didn’t respond to my email on this.
