App works as a remote should. It connected easily to both my Sony Google TV and my Apple 4K TV. I think a good feature to add would be to be able to toggle Closed Captioning on and off. Thanks and keep up the good work!

I just installed Unimote on a MacBook Pro M3 Max, running Tahoe V26.5.2, and it seems to work as well as it does on my iPad and iPhone. The keypad feature is what I am really attracted to as it’s a pain to enter text on screen with a handheld Apple TV remote or in my case a Sony Google TV remote. So far it’s done everything Ive asked of it. While watching television (News, Weather, Sports) I often find myself multitasking with my laptop on my lap and it is much more convenient for me to deploy the app for remotely accessing the volume up/down/mute and or pause the stream etc. Now when I am searching for a new app, configuring, authenticating etc, I hope this helps streamline this process. Thanks for what this app does and it was a real pleasant surprise when it worked on my laptop!

It works for some devices
This app works well for my Samsung Smart TV but it did not find my TV. I needed to manually add the TV IP address. It mostly works with my Roku Streambar when manually adding the Roku IP address. It turns off the Streambar but can’t turn it on. With the Roku Streambar SE, it can’t turn it on or off even though the Streambar is connected to an older Samsung Smart TV the has an IR cable attached to work with universal remotes.

Super convenient app, must have for all people who’s TV remote always disappears. Setup was easy, the controls feel smooth, and I love being able to use my phone for typing and navigation. Really useful to have, will never have to go searching for the remote again!

We were pleased with the recent updates, but the app no longer works as well as it used to, so I've changed the rating from 5 stars to 2 stars.

I loved using it! I keep losing my remote all the time and this makes life much easier. Also great for anyone with kids so that they don’t have prompt access to the remote and hence the TV. Setting it up was seamless and using it is very smooth 5/5

Very polished app that works well with my LG, other smart TVs and my onn Android box. Had problems reconnecting, though once I reopened the app.
Exceptional Remote App
This remote app is extremely user friendly and useful. I’m using a 70” Hisense TV, and the remote app has more features than I know what to do with. It’s replacing my physical Roku remote because of the extra features. Outstanding job!!
