Scam Doesn’t work/no Customer Service

The app doesn’t work and neither does the customer service contact information. I paid $20 for this app and I can’t get my money back or even talk to somebody. I’m leaving this review and hopes that somebody will see it and contact me.

Hi — we hear you, and we're sorry. You paid and it didn't work; no explanation makes that okay. What we can tell you is what we did about it: we traced the connection failures users were reporting and shipped fixes in the latest update — including clear step-by-step guidance when a connection fails (many Hisense TVs need "Mobile Device Connection" turned on in the TV's own settings, which almost nobody knows about). Please update the app and try once more. If it still doesn't work, email support@hiremote.app — a real person will answer and help you set it up, and if we can't make it work we'll point you to Apple's refund process ourselves. We're a small team and reviews like yours are what pushed us to find these bugs — if the update fixes things for you, we'd be sincerely grateful if you'd give the review another look.

Does not work but took my $

Absolutely trash. Made me pay a year subscription upfront to connect to my Hisense tv but does not work. Ended up using a free app that works perfect. Buyer be ware!

$20 PIECE OF GARBAGE

Please don’t waste your money on this app. I spent $20 for nothing! It does not work with my hisense brand new TV. And this app is not eligible for a refund through Apple for whatever bizarre reason they came up with. So it’s a big waste of money don’t do it.!!

Such a scam

Can’t use unless you pay$20 and it looks like that is monthly. Can’t try the app first, can’t do anything at all until you pay. For $20 a month I can just buy 10 remotes and just place one anywhere I may need the remote…

Read Negative Reviews First: Doesn’t connect

Will not connect to my tv. I spent a years subscription, couldn’t connect, and now am out $20. Do not purchase this app, it is a scam. I should have read the recent 1 star reviews first.

Absolutely a scam

Absolutely garbage of an app scam will not let you try a free trial to see if it even connects to your TV makes you pay $20 for the whole year.

I tried it thinking it’s a good app. The reviews must be fake because it will not connect to my TV so I just paid the price of a remote to see if it will connect and it’s just garbage.

Fake contact us- don’t get the app

The app did not work for me at all despite using their troubleshooting steps. Clocked on their contact us button through the app and website and both times I got a failed delivery notification. I would like a refund seeing how I can’t utilize the app at all but again I can’t even get in contact with anyone.
