I purchased this to use on my phone as the original remote that came with our TV is too busy (too many buttons). But this remote does not stay connected to my TV, I purchased this through the Apple Store. I requested a refund and they said it’s not eligible so I literally paid $20 for nothing

This app and others like it are trashy cash grabs. There’s a 3 day trial, but you need to cancel within the first 48hrs or you’ll be charged. I can’t imagine idiots paying 7/wk to use a “remote” that could physically be purchased for less than $10.
My guess is that they’re making money off of people clicking the “trial” and not canceling in 48hrs. There isn’t even a purchase option, it’s $20 per 12 months, lol. Absolute joke.

Don’t go for it. I selected 3 day trial period for this and cancelled it within few minutes when I got to know that it’s not working for me. I sent an email that stated the situation, but they charged me for the whole year. I sent another email, no response. They didn’t give my money back. 3 day trial period is a scam to grab people’s money. It’s a fraud.

It is a great app, I recommend it but your TV loses signal once powered off. There are adverts every time you click a button 10 times.

This app didn’t connect to my tv . My phone and tv were hooked up to the same wifi but still couldn’t connect .
Pleasantly surprised
I always misplace my remote for my LgthinQ which is kind of funny cause the remote is so big. This app works pretty much just like the actual remote and you still have access to the cursor. I’m actually ok spending $25 for the year cause It’s great! I also never seem to lose my phone so I’m good there lol.
