This does not work
Well, I paid to unlock all features but my iPhone can’t connect to the VLC on my computer, it says the VMR is not found but I have checked VMR is running. Don’t buy!

The free version is so loaded with ads. Every time you touch the app you have to sit through a couple of ads. So I paid to get rid of the ads. But the app is so buggy it still doesn’t work right. I think it’s trying to do too much. It looks like there’s a bunch of features I don’t know what they’re supposed to do and it is not intuitive at all.

Don't bother with this. It doesn't work. And the company is impossible to contact for support.
I'm am successfully connected to my Mac but the app itself doesn't work. For example pressing "media" only pulls up a mouse (that itself doesn't work) The app won't go to the media list. The various apps hbo, prime, YouTube etc don't launch anything. There is very limited ability to even navigate and like I said earlier all the mouse and such don't do anything.

When it works, it works great!
This app works great when I can get it working properly. I have a desktop and a laptop both running windows 11. For some reason, if both computers are online, this app will only see the desktop server. Even if I manually change all the port numbers and make entirely unique settings, the app will erase everything I input and it will just make two instances of the desktop computer. It will change all of the inputs to the desktop as well. I can only get my laptop to work if I shut down the desktop server. As soon as I turn the desktop back on, the issue returns.

Great stuff, but it has so many expert features that it simply confuses people with so many options and the version on my fire tv is pretty junky, I have used for many a year, but still feel like a novice sometimes when things don’t go right. Can’t ever connect to my computer and constantly have to retype my login and password

BEWARE!!!
This app will get into your computer and jack up your VLC settings to the point that the GUI is inaccessible. I had to delete the app, uninstall VLC and do a fresh install to fix everything this trash broke. After leaving this review I will be reporting the app to Apple because it’s malicious.
Zero support
Support simply ignore you. The app hasn’t worked for weeks with the iOS update and no even re-downloading the MacBook app doesn’t work. Incredibly disappointing to have paid for this

Comprei a algum tempo o app Remote for VLC, PC & Mac na AppStore, ele funcionava muito bem, porém após a última atualização para IOS 18 o app parou de funcionar.
Quando o app se conecta ao VLC do computador, o app se fecha automaticamente.
Tentei entrar em contato com o desenvolvedor, mas da erro ao tentar enviar o email pelo recurso do site.
Preciso de resposta e solução urgente, pois uso no trabalho o app constantemente.
