A Disciplined Approach to Part 107
Excellent Course, Passed First Try
I spent about 4 days working through the content for about 2-3 hrs per day, plus a day to review and take practice tests. Passed with a 93%. I’d say that a week of steady commitment would be both comfortable and produce similar results.
Also a note to other hopefuls, the other apps I downloaded (won’t mention them here), had numerous inaccuracies and vague questions which didn’t reflect either the test format or content. This app, on the other hand, mirrored it near-exactly. And, while there were some frustrating questions that it asks you, the same is true for the actual exam. I know some people prefer to save money by simply using free online resources, but the cost of the course is equal to the cost of the exam, and the developers will offer a refund if you pass the course reqs and fail the exam. So, I don’t really feel as though it was all that uneconomical.
Does Not Justify the Price — Be Cautious
Response from developer
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are sorry to hear that your experience with the app did not meet your expectations, and we appreciate the opportunity to clarify some points regarding our offerings and pricing structure. First, we want to assure potential users that our pricing is transparent and clearly detailed within the app. The app itself is free to download and provides three options for users to choose from: 1. Free Basic Test Prep – Access to a limited set of exam questions. 2. Premium Test Prep ($49) – A comprehensive FAA question bank with detailed explanations, designed to help users prepare for the Remote Pilot exam. As stated clearly in the app, this option does not include training content or lessons. 3. Ground School ($139) – A full training course, including lessons, instructional videos, and practice exams. Users who purchase Premium Test Prep can upgrade to Ground School for $89, ensuring they only pay the difference. Additionally, free trials are available for both Premium Test Prep and Ground School, allowing users to explore the app’s features before making a purchase decision. Regarding your concerns, we would like to note: • Premium Test Prep focuses exclusively on providing a robust question bank with full explanations, not training content. This is explicitly communicated in the app before purchase. • The claim that Premium Test Prep includes “only links to public files” and PDFs is inaccurate. Our materials consist of proprietary, curated content designed specifically for FAA exam preparation, including over 500 questions, including actual FAA questions, with full explanations. Users can take an unlimited number of practice exams and create customized study sessions using a variety of filtering options. The app also provides detailed metrics and progress statistics to identify and address weak areas. • Over the past 12 years, more than 100,000 pilots have used our products successfully, and we take pride in the positive feedback we’ve received. We understand your frustration and wish to reiterate that we aim to provide value at each tier, offering transparent pricing and clear descriptions of what each option includes. If there is any way we can assist further or improve your experience, please don’t hesitate to reach out directly. Thank you for your time and for allowing us to address your concerns.

Frustrating to use on iPhone
It’s a shame, really, cause it seems well designed otherwise.
It’s great that they supply all of the supplemental figures with each question, but I found myself constantly scrolling up and down, and having to repeatedly open and close the supplemental diagrams to reread the questions and apply my knowledge toward choosing the right answer.
This could easily be solved if the developer simply supplied the corresponding figure number from the “Airmen Knowledge Testing Supplement” than is easily purchased or downloadable as a stand alone PDF from many sources.
Maybe this works more fluidly on an IPad, but I don’t own one.
Response from developer
Thank you for your thoughtful feedback and for recognizing the effort we’ve put into designing the app. We’re sorry to hear that using the app on a smaller screen felt cumbersome and that the process of navigating between questions and supplemental figures impacted your experience. We wanted to clarify that the app does display the FAA figure number below each figure (and above the figure when enlarged). This feature is intended to help users reference the figures in the FAA “Airman Knowledge Testing Supplement.” If, for any reason, you were unable to see the figure numbers, we encourage you to reach out to us via the Support button in the app, so we can assist you directly. Additionally, for your convenience, the FAA Knowledge Test Supplement is available for download through the Library button in the app, as well as on our website. Having this resource on a separate device or as a standalone PDF may help reduce the need to switch back and forth within the app. We truly appreciate your suggestion and will take it into account as we continue to improve the app. Your input helps us refine the experience for users on all devices. If there’s anything else we can do to enhance your experience, please let us know. Thank you for using our app and for taking the time to share your thoughts!

Excellent
Excellent Training
You will pay too much and get very little in return
I would love to be able to wipe out all progress in a section and start over but there appears to be no way to do that.
A lot of the questions are NOT covered by the material you just went through.
I can’t believe I wasted so much money on this app.
Almost great

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback regarding our course, however, the facts that you provided in your review are not correct. The app does not limit students to taking "test questions ONLY once," there is no limitation on taking "more full exams" after the course has been completed, and you may indeed use the app forever "like a book." - The question bank currently includes 455 questions, which are used in the courses and the test preparation module. There is no limit to the number of times that you can answer these 455 questions. None at all. - Completed lessons can be reviewed without any time limitations. - You can create an unlimited number of simulated FAA exams and practice sessions in the Prepare module. The questions are the exact same 455 questions used in the course and in the end of lesson quizzes. - There is a Review Lesson Questions button at the end of each lesson. When you tap that button it creates a quiz session consisting of all questions used in that lesson. It works exactly the same after the lesson is completed. - The app also includes a recurrent training course that may be taken every two years before the FAA re-certification exam. We are the only drone course provider that provides students with unlimited lifetime access that allows students to take an unlimited number of practice exams, and the only drone course provider that includes a free recurrent training course that may be re-taken every two years. If you have any questions regarding using the app please contact us. Ed @ FlightReady
Effective & Relatively Inexpensive
Awesome tool
Update.
Then told I was offered a return...where? I applied through the Apple app...and was told no refunds when I applied for one did not receive an email or an auto refund.
Now with the new update the app (while in my incredibly short amount of free time) now doesn’t work or recognizing my account. Sorry. Even after all that happened prior. I really wanted to give this app a fair shake. Got through weather because you can’t skip around. And now everything appears to be gone.
I’m extremely happy for the pilots that used this program and was able gain knowledge. For half the cost of taking the test I expected more.

Apps are sold by Apple, and users may in fact obtain a refund by contacting Apple. The following Apple support article explains how to obtain a refund: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204084
