About
Remote Pilot turns two iPhones or iPads into a perfect team: one plays videos, the other is the remote control.
Sound familiar? Your child sits in the back of the car with an iPad, and every five minutes you hear: "Can you start the next video?" With Remote Pilot, you control the back-seat iPad comfortably from the front seat.
HOW IT WORKS
Set one device to receiver mode (the playback device) and the other to sender mode (the remote control). Pair them once — done. The devices connect directly to each other, no router or internet connection required.
YOUR VIDEOS, YOUR CONTENT
• Load videos onto the device via Finder or the Files app
• Tidy folders with thumbnails — on the remote, too
• Automatically plays the next video in the folder
• Alternative video folder, e.g. on a USB drive or external hard disk
FULL CONTROL FROM A DISTANCE
• Browse and start videos — with thumbnail previews
• Play/pause, volume, mute
• Adjust screen brightness or turn the display off entirely
• Touch lock: little fingers can't mess anything up
• Camera peek: on request, the receiver's front camera sends you a picture every few seconds — see what's going on in the back without turning around
MADE FOR THE CAR
• Bluetooth fallback: even when wireless CarPlay occupies the iPhone's Wi-Fi, the connection stays alive via Bluetooth
• Works outside the car too, of course — in the kids' room, the living room, or while traveling
SMART IN EVERYDAY LIFE
• The receiver also works on its own as a simple video player
• Supports Guided Access for worry-free use by kids
• Short video tutorials for every feature, right inside the app
PRIVACY
Your videos stay on your devices. Remote Pilot transfers everything directly from device to device — no server, no account, no tracking.
Remote Pilot — drive relaxed while the movie theater runs in the back.
