About

Turn your iPhone into a simple, reliable remote for your TV. RemoteTV finds compatible TVs on your Wi-Fi network and gives you a full remote on your phone - D-pad, volume, channels, playback and power - so you stop hunting for the plastic one under the sofa. WHAT YOU CAN DO - Full remote: D-pad with OK, power, home, back, volume, channel, mute, play/pause, rewind, fast-forward and info. - Touchpad: swipe to move through your TV's menus and tap to select, like a trackpad for your TV. - Type with your phone: use the iPhone keyboard to fill in search boxes on your TV instead of pecking at on-screen letters one key at a time. - Open apps: on TVs that publish their app list, launch what's installed with a single tap. - Add a TV by IP: if your network hides devices from discovery, type the address in yourself. - Try before you connect: no TV nearby? Demo mode lets you explore the entire remote without one. WORKS WITH Samsung (Tizen), LG (webOS) and Roku TVs, on the same Wi-Fi network as your iPhone. PRIVACY - No account and no sign-up needed to use the remote. - Your remote commands travel straight from your iPhone to your TV over your own Wi-Fi. - RemoteTV is free and supported by ads. It uses standard advertising and analytics services and asks for your permission before any tracking. GOOD TO KNOW Your iPhone and your TV must be on the same Wi-Fi network. Whether a TV can be controlled depends on its model, firmware and settings, and some TVs ask you to approve the connection on screen the first time you connect. Roku TVs are not always announced on the network and may need to be added by IP address. RemoteTV is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Samsung, LG, Roku or any other TV manufacturer. All trademarks are the property of their respective owners.
