Slow response on series 3
This might be my series 3 but the lag makes it almost unusable, most likely not the fault of the app.

I used this from another room in the house and freaked out my wife... :). Worth every penny!!
Works well, slow
Response is a bit slow, sometimes pressing a button multiple times results in nothing, then a rapid-fire string of commands. Buttons are a bit small and easy to miss. Would be nice for some sort of feedback such as a small vibration or noise when buttons are pressed.
Nice to have, but one big disappointment
I followed the instructions. Connection was simple and it does work...except for the text entry. It screws that up no matter what I do. I wrote for help but no reply. I hope a future update fixes this. I'm otherwise satisfied.

I haven't used this, except enough to find out that it is missing the text input for the feature I needed it for most: keyword wishlists. I'm looking forward to the addition (I hope) of an option for 9 characters per row for the text entry feature so that it can do this. It will be really handy then!

amazing
i was impressed when i used Remote for the first time to control my iTunes. Then i found this, and was equally impressed. this app is truly one of the best out there.

This is very easy to set up and it works very well. The interface is very plain and could use an update. Would be great if it would access the now playing list and display it on the iPhone/iTouch so you don't need to look at the tv screen and back at the remote to do everything.

Does exactly as expected. To Doug -- I saw you on the tivocommunity thread, here are some suggestions...
Adding things like single-click access to ToDo list (macros), single-click access to Now Playing, a button for CLEAR and RECORD, channel up/down, ASPECT, and a prettied-up interface would all be welcome and bump my rating from a 4 to a 5.

Great app and support
I had an issue and Doug responded quickly with suggestions. Works great and does what it claims. I do suggest adding a record button and maybe enhancing the look in a next version if planned. Keep up the great work. Well worth a buck.
Just wanted to add that it does work with hard wired TiVos. Both of my TiVos are hard wired and it works great.

need only two more buttons then I would be happy
need channel up and channel down then I would be satisfied but it would be great If there was more added to the GUI like show title shown or like progress shown but other wise just need the channel buttons
Not bad but has potential...
I have 2 tivos in different rooms and sometimes need to record on both machines. Normally I'd have to go to the other room to record, but I found that I can now record it from my iPhone going there. The trick is to figure out exactly which remote keys need to be pressed to record the show in the other room.
But this is quite cumbersome. Hopefully a future update can make this easy. For example let us view the guide on our phone then simply select which show we want to record and the program automatically calculates the remote keys to send and sends them. This could be aplied to other features as well such as deleting, etc.
That would make this a Must Have and I'd be winning to pay $4.99 for a complete program like that.

Useless application
This appliction doesn't work. It detects my TiVos but is unable to connect with any of them. Not worth it even if it was free. The developer site is useless for help as well.
Functional, but unrefined
Does the job, but the user interface really needs to be cleaned up. Here's hoping further development is made. Why does the About screen say it's free when I had to pay for it?
Great app
It runs fast and you can connect it really fast just go to settings and find the remotes to connect it I don't know which one I forgot but it gets it fast
