Didn't work to remove background from signature

This program was recommended to me by OpenAI ChatGPT to remove the background from my signature in a PNG file. I opened the app, then opened my PNG file, selected the basic Background Eraser showing a blank background. A window automatically opened to choose my file. When I selected my PNG file, the app created a page without my signature and only a small smudge from the background to my signature. I tried opening "Help," and it said that Help is not available. A waste of my time.
