About
Wake up at the end of a sleep cycle, not in the middle of one.
Sleep runs in cycles of roughly 90 minutes, moving between lighter and deeper stages. Waking near the end of a cycle tends to feel easier than being pulled out of the middle of one.
RemSleep turns that idea into an alarm clock. Instead of picking a time and hoping for the best, you choose how many cycles you want — 7 hr 30 min is simply 90 minutes times five.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Use + and - to choose how long to sleep, one cycle at a time
2. Tap SET! to lock it in
3. Get into bed, then tap Good Night
Here's the part that matters: the countdown starts the moment you tap Good Night.
You don't have to decide "I'll be asleep by 11." If you end up going to bed later than planned, nothing breaks - the wake-up time is recalculated from when you actually tapped.
FEATURES
- Add or remove sleep in whole cycles. No fiddling with minutes.
- Cycle length is adjustable from 30 to 180 minutes. Cycles differ from person to person, so tune it to yours.
- Four alarm sounds - Beep, Bell, Marimba, Digital. Tap any of them to hear a preview.
- Snooze from 1 to 30 minutes.
- Rings even with the screen off and the ringer switch silenced.
- Monochrome design with no color clutter. At night it flips to a dark palette so nothing glares at you in a dark room.
- No account. No sign-up. No personal details asked for.
BEFORE YOU RELY ON IT
- Leave the app running while you sleep. Locking the screen is fine, but force-quitting it from the app switcher leaves only a backup notification.
- It runs through the night, so it uses more battery than usual. Charging overnight is recommended.
- Notification permission is required for the alarm.
ABOUT ADS
RemSleep is free. A banner ad appears at the bottom of the screen where you set your time.
There are no ads on the countdown screen or the alarm screen - nothing will be shown to you while you sleep or the moment you wake.
If you would rather not see ads at all, Remove Ads is available as a one-time purchase from Settings. Buy it once and it carries over to a new phone or a fresh install on the same Apple Account.
PLEASE NOTE
Sleep cycle length varies between people and changes night to night. RemSleep is not a medical device and does not measure your sleep. If you have concerns about your sleep or health, please talk to a healthcare professional.
