The brush has been rebuilt, and the app is easier to use. Tip and belly Each mark is now shaped by both the tip and the belly of the brush. Entry corners, stops, hooks and sweeps come out much closer to the model. Press in place Press down without moving and the brush spreads. The press at the start of a stroke and at a stop now shows in the line. Wider pressure range When you write with a pen, everyday pressure now covers everything from a fine line to a thick one. Turns and stops Where a horizontal stroke turns down, the corner now has a shoulder. Dots and stops end in the shape of the brush instead of a circle. Small loops no longer scatter into hairs. Stays fast The brush keeps up however many characters you write. Character size Set the size of the model characters from 60 to 150 percent, in Settings or with the new Size slider under the practice sheet. Every character now sits in the middle of its square. Bigger practice sheet Tap the arrow next to Model to fold the model away and the practice sheet grows. The divider now moves further, and what you have written scales with the sheet. Clearer buttons and sliders The buttons at the top now show their names. On the trace board and Write under the camera, each slider says what happens at each end. Brush settings: the middle is recommended Pressure, Speed thins and Dry brush have been reworked so that the middle of each slider is the recommended setting. Earlier values are not carried over; every slider starts in the middle. On the trace board, Hold to unlock no longer overlaps the clock.
