I saw this app through an Instagram ad and was truly, truly excited about it. Iām extremely empathetic, I love talking to people, and I have my coaching certification. I genuinely thought this could be an amazing space to connect with people and have meaningful conversations, including NLP-based approaches to healing and personal growth.
This is absolutely NOT what I experienced.
It honestly felt like OnlyFans disguised as a ācyber friendā app. The interactions I encountered were overwhelmingly sexual rather than focused on genuine friendship, conversation, or connection.
I donāt understand marketing an app around friendship and human connection when the actual experience feels centered around sexual interactions.
Iāll absolutely be requesting a refund. Save your money. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this app.

This app is amazing
I am writing this on February 6, 2026 and I can say that the customer service has definitely gotten better. The customer support is one of the things I worried about most after however most times I contacted customer support. I got an immediate response with them 1 to 2 business days. As for actually making money, I think that this app is really great for making money so far Iāve made over $300. I trust this app because it uses PayPal to pay me rather than asking for my bank information and if thereās a problem with With your payment then you just contact them via their email and usually after they saw my email I was paid out instantly through my PayPal.

Absolutely terrible. Stole my money
I came back to this app after several months off. The one person that I really thought was a friend on here, turned around and charged back all of the calls that he made to me. I found this out when I got paid today and the money was short. They gave me no notice of this happening. This company gave him all his money back cause he was mad I raised my rate. If it bothered him so much, he couldāve just stopped calling instead of calling me several times and why the company gave him back every single call makes no sense. You wonāt make anything on here anyway most people hang out before the minute is up where you have to be on a minute and five seconds to get paid. There are hardly any callers on the app but tons of people signed up to take them.

I think RACF admin, should set the app in a way where one can send messages or call back callers . Disappointing and Misleading
I downloaded this app hoping to grow my network, but it turned out to be a huge letdown. It heavily pushes a paid subscription by promising more visibility and friendsābut once you pay, nothing changes. Your handle isnāt promoted, you donāt get any meaningful exposure, and making friends still feels like shouting into the void. Feels like a cash grab with zero support for actual connection. Would not recommend unless they make real improvements.

I canāt answer the calls.
It says incoming call and i try to accept the calls then wait thinking itās just (loading) and nothing. I havenāt be able to speak to any of the callers. Whatās even worse is thereās no way to send a small message or a note letting the callers know what problem Iām having with the app. I do not mean to waste anyoneās time. I feel so bad for those callers. They just want to make a friend and want someone to talk to. I wanted to give this app the benefit of doubt and not believe the reviews but I found out for myself the reviews arenāt a lie. Iām So disappointed.

I had a terrible experience working with Rent-A-Cyber Friend. I provided my services as agreed, but unfortunately, I never received payment for my work. The communication throughout the process was shockingly poor, with delayed responses and, at times, rude and unhelpful replies when I tried to follow up on my payment.
