Bug fixes and feature optimisations

User reviews

Completely inept

I asked them to delete my personal information which under the law they need to, instead they have chosen for absolutely no reason at all to not delete it and keep sending me marketing emails. Lodged complain with OAIC for them to pursue such a simple request.

Unexpected fees and poor system handling

I gave 1 star because the system charged me a $15 dishonour fee even though I never enabled auto direct debit. The money was taken and refunded instantly, but my bank still charged me a $5 unpaid payment fee. This issue should never have happened if the app handled payments correctly. Please fix this problem and stop penalising users for system errors.

5 Stars – Makes rent way less stressful

Been using RentPay for a while now and it’s honestly been great. Super easy to set up, and I love that I don’t have to think about rent every week — it just does its thing. The credit score stuff is a cool bonus too, and I’ve actually started saving a bit using the auto-savings feature (never thought I’d say that).

Feels like one of the first apps actually made for renters instead of landlords. Hope they keep building on it, but for now it’s doing exactly what I need.
