About

Rept Home turns your iPhone into a live dashboard for your reptile's enclosure. Powered by a Raspberry Pi running on your home network, Rept Home gives you instant visibility into the conditions your reptile lives in. WHAT IT DOES • Live Camera Preview — stream a real-time view of your habitat at up to 2 frames per second directly from the Pi camera. • Sensor Dashboard — see current temperature (°F), humidity (%), and UV index at a glance, refreshed automatically every 5 seconds. • AI Habitat Analysis — capture a photo and get an instant AI-scored assessment of your enclosure's livability, rated 0–10 with a written breakdown of positives, concerns, and actionable tips. • Analysis History — browse every past analysis with thumbnails, sensor readings at capture time, and detailed scoring breakdowns. • Auto-Capture Mode — let the Pi capture and analyze on a schedule so you always have fresh data without opening the app. HOW IT WORKS Rept Home connects directly to a Raspberry Pi server running on your local Wi-Fi network. No cloud subscription, no data sent to third-party servers. Your reptile's data stays on your home network. SETUP REQUIRED This app requires a Raspberry Pi running the Rept Home companion server software. You will need to enter your Pi's local IP address during setup. The app will not function without this server running on your network. GREAT FOR Leopard geckos, crested geckos, bearded dragons, ball pythons, chameleons, and any reptile where temperature, humidity, and lighting conditions matter. Rept Home is built for reptile keepers who want more than a thermometer — it gives you a complete picture of your habitat, backed by AI analysis and live sensor data.
